I thought the room was nice since we were upgraded but what I thought was
strange is that they wanted to charge per day to use the wifi. So we didnt use
it. They also said they dont have wifi anywhere in the building.

Being a Vegas guru, I can honestly say that Ballys have rooms that are spacey
and adequate. Rooms are not as luxurious as Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, or the
Venetian. However, the value of being at the28 November 2011
Although I'd booked a "classic" room, at the time of the check in, I asked for a
"good" window view, since the best rooms were not available, I was simply
upgraded to a room on north tower which was very pleasant...

Based on other reviews, I booked a north tower deluxe room with 2 queen beds for
a Saturday & Sunday night visit to Vegas. As might have been expected, arriving
by car late on a Saturday afternoon was met with rush hour-like ...

This was my fifth time in Vegas, but my first time staying at Bally's. The
location of the hotel is definitely its best feature. It is right in the middle
of the strip making it easy to walk North or South on the strip and even to the
Rio and the Palms within 25 minutes.

Stayed here for a conference. The lobby and casino have NO non-smoking areas
that are separated by any barriers, so in effect there is absolutely nowhere to
escape the smoke until you get to your room and the hallway leading to it. I had
to walk through the very smoky casino to get to my room the North Tower. The
conference rooms are smoky, too! This includes the ballroom, the meeting rooms,
the hallways, everywhere. This hotel needs a better ventilation system!
Conference attendees and presenters were red-eyed, sore-throated, and miserable.
I rated it Average only because my North Tower room was quiet, spacious, and
comfortable and the staff was great. |
