Stayed for 4 nights at Caesar's Palace, i booked 2 rooms, over the Christmas
holidays, i got a really good deal...a little bit under $900 (total) for
basically 8 nights (2 rooms x 4 nights), and no resort fees. I thought that it
was a pretty good deal, but by the time we left, i thought it was not THAT great
of a deal. The guy who checked us in, oh boy he must have been having a bad day,
because he was very snippy, and not very friendly. He informed us that since we
had 2 ppl in each room, that only 1 king bed rooms were available...and that we
would have to pay $30/night if we want a room with 2 beds, what a rip off!!!
We got connecting rooms, which was great, but no fridge, no kettle, no coffee
maker, and CRT TV! Last time we were in Vegas (May 2011) we stayed in Excalibur,
and they had CRT TVs...granted, Excalibur is not as nice of a hotel as Caesar's
Palace...but come on!! They even have LCDs at Holiday Inns!
We could get a Keurig coffeemaker, but like everything else in vegas, it would
cost...we ended up getting a coffee maker at CVS, and we were set for coffee in
the morning, better than paying $3/cup at the hotel.
Oh, and housekeeping...each evening's housekeeping brought something new...one
night we didn't have new glasses, another night, they took away our blanket. On
the bright side, the bell hop who brought up our luggage was very helpful, and
told us about the coffee maker trick.
Next time i will think about getting a room at TI or Mirage.

This was our first time going to Vegas. We are so glad we chose to stay at
Caesars. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every moment. The hotel staff was
very nice and the room was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. I usually find
it difficult to sleep in a bed that is not mine but I had no problem, these beds
are very comfortable. Great location making it easy to check out the other
casinos in the area. We have already scheduled another trip in about a month and
will be staying at Caesars again.

I have stayed at Caesars many times over the years and it's nice to see the
continued investment in room updates, new restaurants, spa, and overall general
hard product upgrades. The property does have great amenities overall.
But the service, both speed and friendliness, are completely lacking compared to
many of the other properties in Vegas. No smiles from most of the staff,
miserable restaurant staff at the buffet (and no fresh fruit to be found for
breakfast), 45 minutes to have luggage delivered to the room after checking-in
(and multiple calls), a running toilet reported to maintenance but never
fixed......
We have recently stayed at the Wynn, the Encore, the Four Seasons at Mandalay,
and the Bellagio and there is just a large gap in overall timeliness and quality
of the experience. Too many better choices for a return visit.

Checked in at the Caesar's Palace recently and was given a room in the Roman
Tower. I must say the property is somewhat disappointing - room was older and
they are still using tube TVs! But for $79/nt under the family |
