Stayed at Harrah's Oct 2-8 and gambled there a Our room on lot but never saw the
half-naked dancing girls I have been reading about and my husband would have
mentioned them if he had seen them!!!!! Our room on floor 25 of the Carnaval
Tower was very nice, clean and kept that way all week. We had originally
requested a luxury room with two queens but at check-in I changed to one king
and they had none available in smoking so put in a deluxe room and of course
discounted our room and it was more then just fine. View of parking lot but who
cares only sleeping there anyway. Did the buffet first night since it was there,
food seemed fine just not as cheap as I remember Vegas being. It's been over ten
years since I have stayed on the strip but my sister lived there for over twenty
years so we NEVER WENT ON STRIP, just went to local casinos so had no idea how
much things had changed moneywise. A gazillion 1 cent machines everywhere, few
if any $5 blackjack tables, did find one at Casino Royal next door and a Denny's
for breakfast after that. Took Monorail from Harrah's but they only go as far
south as MGM and there are like a million miles between hotels, expect to really
work off that booze by walking. Rail only goes as far north as Hilton so took
cab downtown, really alot of entertainment on Tremont street. FREE But this
review if of Harrah's which is not the worst choice you could make for the
money. It was fairly cold and rainy while we were there but our friends used the
pool on Monday, did not have to pay $20 for lounge chair, there were plenty
available. Temps in the upper 80's that day but downhill from there. We are from
NH so the weather did not bother us, as matter of fact, my husband was happy,
hates the heat. Check out Harrah's it was a good trip.

My husband had his computer stolen from our room. On the second night we left
our room for about 2 1/2 hours to have dinner. The next morning when my husband
opened his bag to set up computer it was not there. I had locked the door that
night when we went to bed with dead bolt and extra lock, so computer must have
been stolen while we were at dinner. Spoke to hotel security and risk management
who assured me no one had entered our room according to information on door
lock. Very unsettling that someone could enter our room and not leave a trace.
Our door was closed when we left for dinner. Wanted others to be cautious if you
choose to stay here. Rooms were tired, but cheap- at least with the group rate.

Just back from Vegas where we were vacationing for only 60 hours.
We stayed at Harrah's and it was perfect. We did their 24 hour buffet for $45.
Not a buffet I am bragging about, but exceedingly convenient and when you do 4
buffets in 24 hours - dinner 9pm, breakfast, lunch and dinner at 8pm next day -
it is unbeleivably reasonable at $11 per buffet. The buffet includes, juice,
coffee and non-alcohol beverages. Breakfast was my favourite. They have an
omelet station! Yum!
Room was nice. Quiet. Comfortable. Clean.
Location was excellent. We went to shows at Venetian - 15 minute stroll.
Steak House at Imperial Palace - 10 minute stroll.
Bellagio water show - 20 minute stroll.
(I say 'stroll' as on the weekend too many people to walk briskly)

One of the worst experiences I had in hotels in recent years. Noisy, old,
service needs serious improvement, no special amenities, etc. You can do better
in Vegas for the same price.

Service is horrible.... They were not helpful at all. I had to call room service
for block in the bath tub and it was not ok.. We booked a room with 1 King bed..
When we get there they did not have it so we got a 1 Queen bed for the same
price. Room A/C sounds like a boiler room. was not comfortable to sleep at all.
Location was good right at the middle of the strip. Buffet was good.
Should have pay little bit more to stay in a better hotel.

First I got to Vegas really early, when I made the reservation I was advised
that I should check to see if the room was ready and if it was they would check
me in no problem. LIE Yes indeed they will check you in but if it is before noon
they will charge you 25.00. I happen to work in the resort industry(this is NOT
a resort) and I know it costs nothing to check people in early as the room is
setting there empty anyway!!! Second, I paid for an upgraded (15.00 a night)
view of the strip, what I got a view of the roof and duct work with several
yellow lights shining in my window all night long. But, the thing that happened
to make me write this review happened about 5 minutes ago ( I am stuck here
until Saturday thrill thrill) I forgot my toothpaste, you can get a single use
tube of toothpaste at a motel 6 or what ever they are called. Here not so much
4.00 for a single use tube of toothpaste that is not acceptable. Talk about
highway robbery!!! Spend the extra money and stay someplace else, this place
doesn't know the meaning of customer service it only knows the all mighty
dollar. I didn't choose to stay here I am in town for a conference. Believe me
the meeting planner will be hearing from me TONIGHT!!!!

I picked this location because it was in the middle of the strip and the
location was pretty much perfect. Rooms were really clean and big the only small
thing is the walking distance to the rooms but this is Vegas so you have to
expect a lot of walking. I was very happy with the hotel and will be staying
there again. We did not spend a lot of time in the casino but there was great
little food stand out side that was great when you were hungry and it was late.

I took my wife to Las Vegas to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday on the 4th of
July. We stayed in a standard room, but we had a pool view, which was very nice.
Since it was my wife's birthday I had asked for an upgrade, but they immediately
said no. Having no experience in soliciting upgrades I settled for the room I
had reserved. To my surprise anther couple who arrived later that day asked for
an upgrade an immediately were upgraded to a suite. I didn't understand why we
wouldn't have been considered since it was a special trip for my wife and I, but
whatever.....We had a great trip nonetheless, the pool wasn't anything
extraordinary, but we enjoyed our time there. Carnival Court was right there and
thought that was pretty neat. Would stay there again for sure! The only complain
that I have is that when we checked in the sink in the bathroom didn't work and
was leaking all over the place and it took quite some time to get it fixed.

A friend and I stayed here as part of our Contiki tour in May.
We stayed in the Carnivale Tower. Found the hotel to be quite large and manged
to get lost a few times, but pretty sure that would have happened at any of the
large Casino's on the strip.
We thought that Harrah's was well positioned around the other Casino's and easy
to get to most main spots on the Strip.
Our room was spacious we overlooked the pool out to the Strip. The bathroom was
also spacious.
We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. I did have a little trouble
trying to get our phone to be able to make calls out but eventually this issue
was sorted out.
I would happily stay here again.
