My husband and I stayed for 4 nites at the M in September and enjoyed our stay.
The M employees are friendly and helpful. The room was really great. I think I
agree with the other reviewer on the towels though - they don't give you enough.
The tub is very deep and no step to get into it.
We had the strip view and loved it. The drinks are $5.00 and $3.00 and the M
Fantasy is really good along with the Almond Joy drink.
The M buffet is really an excellent buffet. Baby Cakes has the best cupcakes!!!
Moist and really good. Veloce Cibo is really a very nice restaurant also.
The spa was very good Karen gives a great massage.
I hope I get to return. We drove out to Vegas but found getting to the strip
very easy.
Did not use the pool but it looked nice from our room.

Suite was beautiful, food was good, everything was very clean and the casino
wasn't overly smoky. Some of the nicest dealers and pit bosses...friendly and
fun. There was one guest at the table who was drunk and overly-flirty; the staff
at the M offered to get security to walk us to our rooms just to be safe. Very
nice!

The M Resort is truly outstanding. Great views (be sure to request a higher
floor), cool swimming pools, delicious dining and friendly, efficient staff. The
only problem is that the M is far (about 15 miles) from Las Vegas. There are
shuttles to and from the strip and airport, but it is quite a trek - especially
if you want to enjoy the nightlife. But if you want a relaxing, upscale
experience at reasonable prices, the M is the palce to stay.

This is my 3rd stay at the M
Fantastic rooms with double sink bathrooms, wet room showers and built in tv in
the mirror..
Poker room is fab.. Offers tournaments day and night and has great comp offers..
The restaurants are wonderful and we took advantage of the spa..... Lush!! Will
be returning.. It is a 20-30 min drive to the strip but the m does offer strip
view rooms

We stayed here Sept 11-15 and enjoyed our stay immensely. The most notable thing
at this resort is the staff working here. From the shuttle driver (Tamara) to
the housekeeper (Patricia) to the pool staff, gaming staff, restaurant staff and
front desk, everyone was very friendly and truly tried to do everything they
could for us. The rooms were spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. A little
direct lighting in the room would have been nice but was not a problem. This
resort is at the far south end of the strip, l like 15-20 min. so going anywhere
by cab was expensive - $35-$50.. They do have a shuttle service and we found
that to be adequate as we have stayed downtown many times and really didn't care
about being so far out. The resaurants were all good, Anthony's Steakhouse had
great steaks and the Hash House A Go Go served huge portions of everything
ordered and has been featured on the Food Network - Dinners, Drive Ins and
Dives. The buffet should not be missed either and has been voted the best buffet
in Vegas. In summary the "M" is worth consideration if you want a getaway that
is peacefull and does not have the go-go pace of the main strip.

We ate at Anthony's Prime Steak and Seafood and I highly recommend it. My friend
got the bone-in filet and I got the rib-eye. Both steaks were tender and
delicious. Like a lot of fine steakhouses these days you order the potato
separately, a rip off in my opinion but that's becoming more the norm. The bread
was fantastic. Reasonably priced for a fine steakhouse in Vegas. If I'm ever up
south of the strip again I'll be eating here.
We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't comment on the rooms but from the look
and feel of the casino, the lobby and the delicious steakhouse I can only
imagine the rooms are wonderful. We did gamble and the craps dealers were
friendly and attentive. This place is located about 10 miles south on Las Vegas
Blvd but well worth the trip.

Had a Convention at the "M" and stayed four nights. Impressive from the start!
Great look from the exterior and then it actually gets BETTER! Lobby is very
smart, clean, crisp and COOL! Room was clean and had nice touches. The prices in
the Resort for Food and Drinks are VERY REASONABLE. Our Convention meals were
all excellent. Service was solid. The property is very nicely planned out,
rooms, services, restaurants and Convention meeting facilities. Nice size for
our group. The M Resort made our trip special!
Room Tip: Rooms on the north side have excellent views of the Las Vegas Strip!

Loved my strip view room. Comfy king bed, smartly furnished room. Very large
bathroom with double vanity, large soaking tub and walk in shower. Comparing
this room with the terrace room I had later in the week, the M room wins hands
down.
I tried Marinelli's for dinner. I asked for a specific pasta dish prepared a
certain way and it was no problem for them and delicious. I can also recommend
the Studio B buffet. If you accumulate 300 slot credits for the day the lunch is
free.
If you have the time, try the Spa Mio. Can't say enough about the great customer
service and relaxing atmosphere. The regular pool was closed for a private party
but the club pool was available for the guest and is quite adequate. I'm a slot
player so the M has lots to offer and I had some good fun playing them.
Regretfully, I only stayed one night during my Vegas trip but I will certainly
be back and stay longer based on my experience. |
