The Revolution Night Club is fabulous! They gave us free tickets at 12:00 am when
we were on our way to our room so we went in and had so much fun! Our room was
clean and our bed comfortable. Hotel Staff were helpful, professional, nice
cheerful people. At check in they said Happy Anniversary we will send
complimentary champagne to your room. They forgot but I called and they did send
up a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice with 2 glasses. The Mirage Buffet is
one of the best for breakfast, lunch and dinner, good food. I looked at other
reviews and took the advice to ask for a room high up and with a view of the
Volcano. It was fabulous looking at the lights of the casinos in the distance,
fireworks from the Treasure Island pirate show, the Mirage Volcano show. There
was a Christmas show across the street and the music Carol of the Bells sounded
beautiful. You can hear the drums of the volcano show until about midnight we
don't want to go to sleep early in Las Vegas anyway. We had no neighbors so our
room was quiet. We asked for a room away from machines and elevators. Partying
people were very loud inside and outside the rooms near the elevators.

Visited The Mirage and was slightly disappointed. I read somewhere that Steve
Wynn helped construct this hotel so I had high hopes. Overall, the hotel is nice
and could be considered slightly above average for Las Vegas standards. The room
was a little small compared to other hotels that I have stayed at and it's
showing its age. The food at the buffet was excellent. There is a resort fee so
be prepared to pay for that when you check in or at check out. The casino is
great, we won big! For the price, this hotel delivers.

From the check-in till the check out I cannot complain for anything. It's a
really central location if you want to see everything. Room was clean and nice
looking too. There are fixed rate of 20$ for services which includes the
wireless Internet and I used it on my 3 devices at the same price, once on WiFi
it request your last name and room number and your in... Good speed as we could
talk and video call on Skype without interruption. Heated pool which we didn't
go as it was a bit cold and too windy to feel for going in the pool, it's a
beautiful area. We eated at the Buffet on Sunday morning for the brunch, it was
ok, Champagne was served, I preferred the Asian section, the regular breakfast
buffet style was ok, but you can get your eggs cooked the way you want at a
special counter, very nice.. It's a better option.
We were at the Samba, Bresilian restaurant, very good, good price...
Casino side it's good, we feel like the old time when we were allowed to smoke
everywhere in bars, etc... It is sure it could be annoying if you sit next to a
smoker with their huge cigar or just the smoke in your face, but if you are
there for the fun and gambling then you are well served...
we used the tram to Treasure Island saves us a few steps, their exit close to
the Caesars Palace is very convenient.
At the check out if there are a lot people waiting, they offer you to send your
receipt by email instead of waiting, I didn't use this service, but it was
available no hassle with the checkout everything was clear.
When you are well prepared and informed on the 20$ fixed fees and you know what
to expect then I would say go for it and have fun.
It's all about expectation....
I would definitively recommend The Mirage and I would go back for sure...

I usually stay at the Mandalay Bay, but my best friend got me this room at the
Mirage for my birthday. My family doesn't live far from Vegas so we are frequent
visitors and have tried just about every hotel

Biggest plus upon checkin was we asked if it would be possible to have
volcano/strip view. They said no problem but would be 3 hour wait. I asked if
there would be an upgrade fee and they said no. |
