I was in San Francisco and had never visited Vegas. I got a flight and 3 nights
for such a good price I had to go. The Monte Carlo was a very nice hotel, I
really liked the location easy to walk to other hotels on the strip...or to take
the 24 hour bus ...the room was big...and clean , i really liked the sports bar
and the great happy hour. this made for an very affordable visit ,and even
though im not a gambler i really did like the shows and restaurants ..if you
need a few days at a good value, this is your place

My girlfriend and I stayed there for 4 days this January. We thought the casino
was clean, convenient to the strip, and not over crowded. The casino wasn't
brand new but had a nice food court and a few good places to dine and a really
easy feeling to it. The casino is right in the middle of the strip which is
awesome. The rooms were standard. The hotel service was good. The spa/workout
room was very convenient and free with our stay. We used it the entire time. The
casino had an older feel to it but we really liked that. We stayed at Mandalay
Bay last year and that was incredible. But everything was way over priced in the
casino and it was too far from the center of the strip. I would recommend
stayting here if you want to hang out in peace. It's not for the high rollers or
the people who like the hustle and bustle of a busy and loud casino. I give it
an overall 4 stars. I hope this helps.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Monte Carlo. Pretty good location on the
strip. The room was a nice size, clean, housekeeping was good. Good A/C. The
beds were okay. Good view. No noise problems like others have mentioned. Our
entire floor smelled of marijuana, but it's Vegas. The lobby was nice, the
casino and public areas were on the smaller side, compared to other casinos. The
shopping area that attaches to the tram was nice. The steakhouse restaurant was
very good. Steaks were perfect, the potions were huge. The service and food were
the best that we had on this trip to Vegas. The food court area had good
selection, subway cost more than at home, but again the potions were huge. The
sports bar also had good food with huge portions. There was a nice cupcake place
with very good flavours. The buffet was typical of Vegas. They had a very nice
cigar bar that my husband really enjoyed. The cigar bar was the best. Drinks
were okay, typical. Pool area was very nice, large, and crowded. The music
didn't seem excessively loud to me, like others have mentioned. People were
enjoying themselves. Some areas of the hotel appeared newer than others. We took
a helicopter tour, wax museum, dinner at Paris, pet the MGM lions, Hoover Damn,
M&M world, Phantom of the Opera, and many other fun activities. It was a very
nice vacation.

My wife and I stayed in a room over looking the strip and I wouldn't stay here
again. We walked into our room and the trash cans had not been taken out...there
was a pile of towels right in the center of the floor

We travel to Vegas for getaways about 3 times/ yr. We had never stayed at the
Monte Carlo so we thought that we would give it a try as the price was right. We
are very sorry that we did.
