Guest Reviews Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas
31 December 2011
I only wish we had known about The Orleans the first week of our vacation. We
moved to The Orleans after being in Vegas for a week at another hotel and
casino. The Orleans was very clean, and I was looking for dust and dirt after we
checked in.

I stayed at the Orleans during a business conference in June. The King standard
room was very well maintained and had recently been upgraded. The bathroom was
rather small, but there was a couch/living area that was a nice addition to the
room.

This was our first stay at the Orleans and our second visit to the Casino. The
first visit was earlier in the year just to gamble while our kids were in the
kids club which was nice to have some time as parents to ourselves.

Anyone who bothers to read my reviews, I tell the straight out truth. The Casino
pays a lot of favoritism toward the 55 plus by doing all sorts of "specials".
Our room carpet was filthy. Next to the night stand

For over 20 yrs., go to Vegas 5-6nites at least 4x a year. Stayed in most strip
& downtown hotels. High ceilings/fabulous 8 region buffet ($1 off with free
coast card). Get card and register email for promotions. Big rooms w/loveseat
and easy chair. Don't like hokey colonial furniture but OK. Safe in room will
hold laptop. Nice hot tub by pool around a sm. island. Great food and better
food at their sister casino, the Gold Coast (free shuttle there and to
strip....7min). Fast check in and fast elevators. Has movie theatres/senior
days/bowling alleys/high ceilings. BAD: charge xtra $6 a day resort fee....it
does get you INTO fitness club but does NOT allow you to use a locker OR take a
shower without paying extra!
Bad new too big pillows, two of the main lights unpluged and would need to move
heavy furniture to plug them in.
