I just had the pleasure to spend 5 nites in a ninteenth floor suite. We were
here for her to attend a conference at a nearby property. The bed and sofa were
fine the linens were at least good, maybe great. There were some issues with the
place but overall it was fine.
The issues: all of the water faucets were in need of repair. the "fill hose" for
the tub was not useable in the hand spray mode but the tub location by the
window did make for an interesting bath. The two person shower was nice, if the
water valves and spray heads worked correctly, it would even have been fun. As
it was it was just marginally useable for one. I am curious why the tv's which
are bolted to the floor have to spoil what was otherwise a stunning (except for
the dirty windows) view of the mountains on one side and the "old city" on the
other. The kitchen was for all purposes except making a simple breakfast
useless. There are no kitchen basics not even salt and pepper. There was a
coffee maker, but no coffee pot for it. As there are no knives (I can just
imagine what the "TSA" would say about a cooking knife in an airplane carry-on),
I even had trouble with a grapefruit. My girlfriend has some dietary
requirements and I was along to make this easyer but the kitchen did not help
much. I left a vegetable peeler as a "gift" to/for the room along with the salt
and pepper. I hope these things stay with the place and that others that like a
useable kitchen continue the custom.
I thought that the 30 dollar daily fee for the use of the fitness center was way
steep even for Vegas. I figure the management keeps the use down so the
equipment lasts longer.
I thought that the dark colors in the place were depressing. As I was visiting
in winter, when the sunlight is not so strong, seeing the place in high summer
this might make me change my mind. I also thought that the facility was much
older then it is.
I thought that the staff, especially the pool staff was quite helpful. The "pool
boy/ lifeguard" I think his name was Chris was an especially good staffer and if
management reads this he deserves kudos for his work. I was swimming on an
especially windy (Fri, 27 Jan) day and he stayed with me in spite of the lack of
other people and the cold wind.
All told, I would stay again, especially as I know now what to expect.
As I did not pay the bill I cannot speak to the "value" of the Palms Place.
Ask for a high floor with a mountain view if you like such things. A friend had
a "strip" view and I did not like it much.

We really enjoyed the accommodations at the Palms, but the front desk people are
incompetent. While i was sleeping with my family of two young boys and wife
someone walked straight into our room startling everyone half to death. I
scrambled to the front where a woman was looking into the room and said that
this was the room they assigned to her. I was like well first get out of the
room and then I'll call down to figure out what happened. It took talking to the
manager who had to bring us new keys at 2 AM. It was crazy to think they gave
our room to someone while it was clearly checked out. Major oversight. It
could've been a lot worse for the woman who walked into our room if we were
anything other than understanding. Ridiculous.

This is the place for young people to party. There is a buzz on the casino floor
when you walk In which is continued in the moon nightclub. Nice pool with plenty
of loungers and bars to enjoy the sunshine

We had an excellent trip to the Palms for New Years. The room was clean, but the
hotel has lost that "new" feeling after about ten years.
We had a table an Nove for New Years Eve, and a table at Moon afterward. It took
a half an hour for them to walk us up, which was annoying. Also the food at Nove
wasn't out of this world like we had expected. Finally the thing that pissed me
off the most was that they wanted to charge us for Internet even after we paid a
resort fee. Our trip was excellent, but they are no longer going the extra mile
to lure people off the strip.

We flew into Vegas early from LAX so we got to the hotel before the check-in
time. We waited on the couches until we decided we'd pay the early check-in
price. They allowed us to check in early and we got a really nice room on the
30-something floor with a Las Vegas Strip view

We just stayed at The Palms Place from Dec 25th thru Dec 29th and we had a
studio suite. We had a refrigerator and freezer that did not work. We had a room
that was freezing and call after call nothing was done about it.

I had not been to the Palms in quite a while, and this was the first trip in
which I was charged a resort fee. I do not need drink coupons because I get free
drinks while gambling, I don't use the .

As much as the rooms are good and beds are comfortable be prepaid to pay, pay
and pay. First off out a group of five of us staying there no two people had the
same rate. Once we checked in we learned about all the other charges such as the
“resort fee”

My husband and I did a staycation here for our anniversary. Our Jr. Suite in the
Palms tower was nice, but nothing special. When I think suite, I would at least
expect robes in the room. There were none, the toiletries were just okay, the
