Guest Reviews Signature At MGM Grand Las Vegas
10 January 2012
We stayed here for our first trip to Vegas based on reviews from other Trip
Advisor members. I have to agree with the general consensus that this place is
AMAZING!
for $99USD a night we were in a HUGE room with a bathroom of almost equal size.
Shower, spa, double vanity, robes, kitchen, king sized bed (so comfortable it
was had to get up in the morning), lounges and media set-up and an amazing view
across the desert.
The hotel has a moving walkway through to the main MGM Casino/strip so getting
around is super easy. The pool is big but showing it's age. The pool side
cocktails are generous but pretty crappy. I must say though, its nice for a dip
after a day wandering through the heat.
The Signature is amazing value for money and I highly recommend it!

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Signature. It is not your typical
Vegas hotel.
From the gated entrance and efficient valet parking, to the amazing suites, it
is an outstanding hotel. The suites are large, well apointed, and very
luxurious. I appreciated the fact that there was no casino in this hotel, but
had easy access via moving sidewalks to the MGM Grande. No smokey haze or smell!
The gym is very well equipped and the Starbucks in tower one was awesome.
Traveling with my family and having a one bedroom suite afforded us all lots of
space, two full bathrooms, and numerous of tv's. Service was top notch.
The hide a bed was typical...not overly comfortable, and the location away from
the strip, and at the end made the location a bit of an issue, but the rest was
great!
A solo traveller may not need or appreciate the size and layout of the suites,
but couples or families definitely will.

I was really excited to check out the Signature at MGM Grand. I am a non-smoker
and was looking forward to staying at a smoke-free hotel in Vegas! We only
stayed one night due to a timeshare we stayed in the rest of the trip. The hotel
itself was very nice. There is a gated driveway and walkway to enter the
property, everything was very clean, and the staff was pleasant. We stayed in
the tower furthest from MGM so it was a little bit of a walk to get to the
casino but it's really not that bad, especially when the alternative is usually
walking outside in the heat. In our tower we tried the breakfast place, which
was just OK. I got the lemon raspberry pancakes and I'd pass on those, it was
too much bread and they weren't good, it tasted more like a cake than a pancake.
The little breakfast place doesn't serve lattes or drinks like that, but there
is a Starbucks nearby towards the other tower.
We got a room on the 35th floor - we were on the airport side of the building so
the view wasn't as great as it could have been but it was still nice. The
elevator has "PH" written on the buttons of the higher floors, including the
floor we were on. I felt special because of that until I got back home and a
friend mentioned that she's stayed on floors with and without the "PH" on the
button and there was no difference among the rooms - oh well!
The room was HUGE - big bathroom with a deep tub, a mini kitchen, a few
chairs/couches. I really liked everything about it. The only problem came
overnight, we slept terribly!!! The bed itself was comfortable but there was
noise almost all night. I'm still not sure if it was noise from the airplanes
taking off/landing at the airport since we're not that far from it, or if it was
the vents in the hotel going on and off, or a combo of both...but it was awful!
I was REALLY disappointed about that because everything else was great! I wonder
if it was just our room or area of the hotel, or if that's something other
people have experienced. I wouldn't stay there again for that reason.

The Suites at the Signature are part of but separate from the MGM property. They
are gated and there is no gambling on site. The entrance is lovely and the desk
staff was mostly nice although a few were "testy"

I booked the 1 bedroom suite at the Signature for my 21st birthday. I was
discriminated against multiple times for booking the room through a 3rd party.
