Stayed at this property with a sports team in early December 2011. The sales
department folks were a bit forgetful, but the rest of the service from everyone
we came in contact with made up for it. Had 17 teen boys to plan meals during
the stay, and the hotel restaurants (Buffet, Bagel Shop and TGI Fridays) and
their management we awesome to deal with - even over the phone. They made my
plans very easy and simple. Mary at the front desk was awesome in helping us
secure later check out so the boys could clean up after their last game before
taking the long drive home. The staff in the Italian restaurant were especially
great, and the live piano music on Friday & Saturday night was a big hit.
The regular rooms are huge, with lots of room to spread out. The only downside
was the lack of TV channels but we weren't really there to watch TV. The hotel
is in a very nice part of West Las Vegas.
I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay on the northwest side of town.

Their sign as you drive up says "Rooms starting at $38" . When I went to check
in the cheapest room was twice that. When I asked what happened to the $38 rate
I was told that the sing says "starting at". So how many rooms did you sell at
the $38 rate? I asked. "None". That is just dishonest.

We visit Vegas 4-6 times a year and usually stay at the Suncoast for part of our
visit. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. -and quiet!
We just returned from a 4 night stay over the holidays.
Although there were no problems with the hotel room we did not gamble much at
the casino because of the HEAVY SMOKE. We noticed this on our last visit but
thought it may be a mechanical issue but that does not seem to be the case. We
have been staying there for past 4 yrs and noticed the smoke is really getting
bad. You are hit with a rancid cigarette odor at the door- not a great welcome!
Suncoast mgmt please take note and update your system!!
The hotel is only a short drive from Red Rock Casino and that is where we spent
most of our casino time. upgrade to golf course side if you like a view. I
prefer a dark cold room to sleep in so it doesn't make a difference to me.-do
love their heavy drapes!

The Suncoast is part of a chain of hotels in Vegas. We stayed in a suite room
which was clean but had damage furniture. The S C Steak house was good and
service was good. But the casino is an ashtray.

In Las Vegas over Thanksgiving holiday and stayed at the Suncoast from
Thanksgiving day to Sunday. The hotel is closer to Summerlin than the Las Vegas
strip. For some reason, my GPS wanted to direct me through |
