GVR was a great surprise amongst the behemoth casinos of Las Vegas. The staff
was extra helpful in every way since I'm temporarily handicapped. The handicap
facilities were acceptable.

If you want to be in Vegas without the touristy feeling of the strip, this is a
great option for you... Feels like a high-end resort but has the nightlife and
gambling if you want it... Beautiful rooms and great beds!

Very smokey. Not good for people with asthma like me. Staff are not friendly. A
lot of drunk people. Didn't feel sevired. There's a good pizza place at their
food court.

Stayed 5 nights in January for a business trip and was happy to be away from the
strip which was packed with an electronics convention. My room was in the West
tower and I had a nice view of the pool area and the Vegas strip. Room was nice
- standard to above average. Bathroom was very large. It had a separate shower
and tub although the tub was just a basic tub -- no jets which would have been
nice after all the walking I did (the resort is HUGE)! The lobby and other areas
have beautiful shiny tile floors that are somewhat raised an uneven. They are
also quite slippery and I had to walk carefully to prevent myself from falling.
There are several restaurants on site in the casino, including a food court if
you want to grab a quick bite. There was also a movie theater, but I didn't have
time to check that out. Just out the door was a nice shopping area. I spent my
free day at the spa which was very nice despite a glitch at the beginning. I
walked over to the spa at 9am and asked what they had available. I booked a
package with a massage, facial and pedicure beginning at 11. I went to my locker
and changed and spent 2 hours in the sauna, jacuzzi and just relaxing. I waited
to be called for my appointment and by 11:10 I went to ask what was going on.
They said I wasn't "checked in" so the scurried to get my massage going. They
did in fact extend my treatment so I wasn't penalized for the delay, but it did
detract from the relaxation a bit. The treatments were very good. Overall, this
was a nice place to stay. Rooms aren't terribly expensive and the property is
quite beautiful.

A very comfortable resort away from the glitter. The bedrooms are spacious, the
meeting space functional, and the casino pleasurable. The staff, especially
housekeeping, is first rate. There is a good shopping center

We visit Las Vegas 3 times a year and we always look forward to our stay at
Green Valley Ranch. The entire staff from Housekeeping to the first person that
opens the front doors to the hotel, really treat us as welcome guests. |
