From start to finish an awful experience. Check in took over an hour, every time
called operator was put on hold at least 15 minutes, cleaning of rooms occurred
at 4pm and after complaining

Everything about THEhotel was a dream. Our 2 room suite was uber-chic yet also
really comfortable, and we even discovered an extra bathroom on the second day.
The bath was almost as enormous as the bed!

Treated ourselves to 1 night here in The Suite and wished we could have stayed
longer what a fabulous hotel - plush, trendy and totally amazing!
Staff very friendly and you can use Mandalay bay pool with beach! also best
buffet i have tasted in Vegas - its also worth buying the 1 day buffet pass as
its worth it
Book early and you can get good deals even on the suites

My wife and I stayed at THE hotel for a weekend getaway. We had a great 1
bedroom suite on the 28th floor with a pretty good view of the strip. The room
was very clean and looked exactly like the virtual tour on the hotel website. It
was plenty big for just the 2 of us. It had 3 tvs and 2 bathrooms. Overall a
great room......
I think I liked the room more then usual because we got it comped prior to our
stay. I dont know how I would feel spending the regular room rate for the room,
though. Dont get me wrong the room and hotel are very nice. If you don't want to
be around the "rift raft" people at some lower end hotels then this is a great
place. If the people dont bother you then you can get a room at the Luxor or the
Excalibur that will serve your needs just as this one did. If I had to pay for a
room I wouldnt stay here!!!
It is not as far as a walk as other people made it out to be to get to the
Mandalay Bay pool, which was disappointing actually. If you are there to sun
bathe you will love it, if you want to swim then it leaves alot to be desired.
The wave pool is cool, but only 1 wave every 90 seconds.
Overall a very clean and very nice hotel, but just be prepared to spend money!!
If that doesnt bother you then you will love it there.
For a great view of the strip go up to The Mix- no dress code before 10pm.

Overall, the room was great with modern decor and a comfortable bed and couch.
Great features include 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom from the living room.
However, if you decide to stay here, ask to stay on one of the top floors; we
were on the 3rd floor next to a conference room and it was very loud in the
morning while they were setting up for a conference. Also, be prepared to spend
a lot of money on food and beverage. For example, if you drink the cup of coffee
provided in the room, it will cost you $7; the bottled water was $8. They should
consider at least providing each guest with a cup of coffee and bottle of water
per day, on the house, considering the cost of the room and food. Next time go,
we plan to stop at the liquor store before we check in to buy beer and water and
stock the fridge. The best restaurant we ate at was Red Square, it was AWESOME!
The service was great and the food was the best we've ever eaten! Food was good
at Border Grill but the service was terrible. Food and service was great at Lupo.
Overall, great place to stay, we were just a little sticker shocked.
