Stayed for five nights the last week of November. Check in was quick and easy -
our request for a room with a view of the Strip was accommodated with no
problem. Our room was basic, but large, quiet and for the most part clean.

Stayed her part of honeymoon. Clean, smart hotel. Great bars, Beatles cirque
show, dolphins, zoo, night club (Jet was amaze!) and BLT burger branch. Only
complaint was no robes on arrival, this was fixed quickly and with one simple
call.

We stayed at the Mirage for 2 nights. We were in town for the marathon. The
rodeo was in town at the same time. Location of Mirage is great, close enough to
the mall, and the Forum shops at Caesar's

Mirage is a great value. The new renovation is a great improvement from the
original tropical theme gone wild.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. It was my first visit to Vegas and the
visit was made more memorable by the hotel. The room was very clean and well
maintained. The food was excellent.

For the most part, staying here was awesome! We stayed four nights. Check-in was
definitely a bit long, as it took a good 30minutes. Room was clean, and didn't
smell like smoke!! The one big complaint that I have is that we got a noise
complaint on a Saturday night at 845pm. We were listening to some music (not
even loud and no bass) while we were getting ready and next thing you know we
have security knocking at the door. I just had a hard time getting over the fact
that we did get a complaint at 845. I was definitely pretty disappointed. Other
than that, mirage has some nice restaurants, pool area, amenities etc. I would
definitely stay here again.

The Mirage has plenty of reasonably priced venues to eat at from the California
Pizza Kitchen to the BLT Burger Place. Portions are generous and easily shared
between two females with the exception of the Bistro where they charge an extra
$3.00 if you are sharing.
Overall I found the staff unfriendly and unhelpful. The pool staff were like the
gestapo checking your pool pass each time you entered. No matter how many times
you went back and forth and in and out of the pool area they would glare at you
and make you produce your key card. After 1100 pm you had to show your hotel key
card to ride the elevator to your room and the security staff were unfriendly
and bordering on rude when they requested that you show your key card.
In comparison to other hotels that I have stayed at in Las Vegas (MGM and
Caesars) the Mirage is not even close. I will not stay at the Mirage again but I
will go eat there again!

I have always wanted to stay at the Mirage. 2 of my Most favorite restaurants
are located in the Mirage - Carnegie Deli & BLT. I was planning to stay here...
Until I discovered that HALF of the hotels in LV charge a Bogus "Resort Fee" &
this was one of them! THIS was THE "Deciding Factor" in planning my trip!
Resort Fees are a (Legal) way that some hotels use, to CHEAT their guests out of
about $25-$15 per day! They say that the charges are for standard stuff, like
Internet access, Local phone calls, Daily newspaper, Fitness center access,
Business center access, Valet parking, In room coffee, Bottled water, Gift shop
discounts, Wake up calls, Pool access, etc. - stuff that they list - as their
reason WHY they charge the Resort Fees.- Services that is usually FREE at other
hotels!?
I have made up my mind... I WILL NOT stay at a hotel that charges Resort Fees!
I'm SURE that I am NOT the only traveler that thinks this way!? Until these
stupid hotels realize that they are losing MONEY & GUESTS as a direct result of
them charging these Resort Fees, I can stay at other hotels that have already
realized this! The Harrah's properties (Harrah's, Flamingo, Bally's, etc.) saw
this was STUPID - other hotels charging their guests for FREE stuff, right off
the bat - Harrah's does NOT charge Resort Fees & they will continue to receive
MOST of my business in the future! Thank you Harrah's!

This was our second visit to The Mirage, the first being in 2009.
We decided to stay again because we knew the layout, were impressed with the
hotel and loved its location on The Strip. Once again the public areas were
beautifully kept including the plant displays in the atrium and the enormous
fish tank at reception but this time the room wasn’t quite up to scratch. We
were allocated a non-smoking room on a lower floor with a so-so view over the
flat roof and Atrium dome. It was as clean, quiet and comfortable as we
remembered from last time but the windows were filthy and there were small holes
in the duvet covers. Whilst these aren’t huge complaints we did expect better
from a hotel of this class, hence our four, not five star rating.
If there’s a next time perhaps we should try the $20 sweetener at check in!
