Our Thanksgiving get-away at Paris was really wonderful! We took the room
upgrade and to our very pleasant surprise, it included a great continental
breakfast and appetizers in the evening. Our tastefully decorated room

I stayed at the Paris hotel recently during a trip to Las Vegas, and chose it
mainly for it's location, decor, and the great price I got on their website.
Overall, I really liked this hotel. The casino is beautiful, the waitresses are
very quick to bring your drinks (make sure to tip!) and the restaurants there
are fantastic. I particularly liked Cafe Belle Madeleine for the pastries! The
room itself was nice and well decorated, but could use a refresh as the
furniture seemed worn and the bathroom outdated with gaudy wallpaper. However,
the rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. Even my non-view room had a
decent view of Bally's and the Platinum hotel. I will agree with other reviewers
that the checkin staff was less than welcoming, but the housekeeping staff was
wonderful.
One thing I hated about this hotel was the valet parking. Getting into the valet
parking seems all but impossible unless you enter the hotel from the Strip,
which of course is a nightmare. Getting out is the same -- you have to turn on
to the strip. All the while, there are pedestrians crossing in front of the
entrance/exit. If you are lucky enough to get a break in the pedestrians (drunk
people aren't very good about following the crosswalk signals, so be careful),
it may be moot because traffic may easily be backed up beyond the intersection.
I sat for 15 minutes trying to get out of the valet parking on Friday afternoon.
I do not recommend using the valet parking, and you may not have a choice
because it was full a few times when I pulled into the hotel. If you decide to
self-park, access is easy off of Audrie Ln behind the hotel. I wish I had know
this from the beginning.
Apart from the parking fiasco, this was a great stay in a beautiful environment.

We just returned from a 3 day conference at the Paris hotel...and it was one of
the most disappointing stays I've ever had in Vegas. My husband and I stayed
there for a 3 day conference and the last night of our stay the Chateau night
club opened its beer garden. OH MY GOD. It sounded like the night club was IN
OUR ROOM. Our windows were shaking and we could make out every word of every
song they played. Remind you, this club stays open until 4am. The music finally
turned off at 4:30am. The staff at the Paris was awful about the noise. The
night manager even told me he was "over it" because of all the calls. See, the
Paris can't do anything about it because Chateau is owned by someone else - it's
not run by Paris. I was told the music would stop at 2. Nope. 3am. Nope. It went
on until 4:30am. I would tell you to call first and make sure your room DOES NOT
face the pool (which is really the best view in the hotel since that view also
affords you the wonderful Bellagio water show). However, after talking to the
night manager and the next day manager, there were complaints about the noise
from the back of the hotel, from Bally's and from Bellagio!
I will NEVER stay at this hotel AGAIN. The staff was incredibly rude about the
offensive noise and offered absolutely NO reciprocity for the inconvenience of
not being able to sleep that night. The manager told me it should be the Chateau
nightclub that should be giving patrons free nights.
It was awful...I wouldn't take the chance. As long as that nightclub is open
there - I will stay far away from that area. There are just too many awesome
hotels in Vegas to take a gamble with that kind of noise pollution. Unless you
are someone who usually gets home at 4 or 5 am...then disregard this review. |
