I only stayed for 2 nights, But considering that this one oldest Casino property
and Hotels on the strip. it has great make over. The rooms are modern and
nice. and best of all cost of the rooms are reasonable

My first visit to Vegas and we stayed at the Riviera. The casino literally
smelled horrible like a cheap coconut perfume. The elevator was disgusting, so
much that didn't even want to touch anything.

This is my review for my visit to Riviera in September 2011, I had visited
Riviera in the year 2005 and was overall happy with my stay, but I was not as

On a recent trip, my husband and I ate at the buffet at the Riviera Hotel and
Casino. There wasn't a good variety of food and the food that was present was
old and looked stale!!! It was barely edible!!! Not worth the $$$.

I booked this hotel instead of a hostel as I had read bad reviews about hostels
in Vegas. when I got there I found a dirty room with bits of tissue all over the
floor!?! without apology I was given another room which was smaller

Good budget hotel on the strip, nicely located with just opposite to McDonalds
and Circus Circus. One of the good casinos of the city. Over all a good decent
place to stay.

Stayed there with hubby & our two friends 27th Sept-4th October and found it to
be fine! Spotlessly clean & comfortable beds and daily maid-service including
change of towels! Not as 'posh' as many others on the Strip, but you're not in
your room all day so it's perfect for getting your head down.
Had breakfast in The Queen Victoria Pub, but didn't try the other eateries as we
were out all day.
The only thing that lets the hotel down is the check-in staff, who are
unwelcoming, unwilling to speed up (the check-in queues were horrendous!!),
unpleasant & extremely unhelpful!! Our safe didn't work and we were told
'tough'!!
The cashier staff were fabby (especially Kathleen) who helped us with a safety
deposit box for free ($20 deposit is refunded when you return the key). DON'T
hire the room safe & you'll save yourself $3.50 each day!!
