I've been going to the Silverton for twelve years. I like the staff they are
really friendly and helpful. There's a good choice of slots and table games too.
Whilst the beds are truly comfortable the rooms are still dark and dingy. And
the showers are probably the worst I've used in any hotel anywhere! But I'll
still go back there as I love the atmosphere.

I like the Silverton; it's located enough off the strip so that it's quiet and
pleasant. Staff is very helpful and the rooms are a good bargain. I took three
grandchildren with me, and it's an excellent choice for those with kids or older
folks (like me) who don't want the amperage of the strip. Plus the decor is very
much like Colorado. Nice place, but probably not for the 20 something's. "Resort
fee" an annoyance, and it doesn't include internet service

We stayed at the Silverton hotel in February as it was off strip and attached to
the bass pro shop. The hotel is a nice hotel. The pool area looked great though
it was not open for the season. Our 5 and 2 year olds loved going to Bass Pro to
look at the aquarium and mermaids who swam in the tanks. We would definitely
stay here again.

My friend and I visited the Silverton to gamble and eat at the Buffet. We took
advantage of the player's club and got free slot play and Buffet. Marc at the
player's club was very helpful and friendly. Maria at the Buffet was an amazing
server. Very nice and very fast for how busy she was. The food was good and the
price was right. I will be sure to return to the Silverton in the future. What a
wonderful and staff, they managed to be friendly and helpful despite being very
busy.

Room was clean and motel style with cooling unit connected to window and a bit
noisy. Bathroom is small and shower/tub combo a bit worn. Plenty of towels an
the bedding is actually quite comfortable. Pool area is nice. Resort fee of
$7.50 per night is unwarranted as it is no resort and unless you use airport
shuttle the fee has no value as it does not include Internet. Rates are decent
but better location/value can be found with newer properties elsewhere. |
