Hi all, just to let the world know of my wonderful experience I had at Terribles
Hotel & Casino recently. I play the slots all night long, I win a little, but
the warm and friendly atmosphere at Terribles is welcoming, safe and near to
most shopping places.

I love Terribles and don't let the name fool you. It's away from the strip so
not a lot of touristy hustle and bustle. The environment is relaxed and the
gaming staff is super nice. The Players Club is pretty good.

WE had a tower room over looking the pool it was great. We had looked at other
strip hotels but for there rates and then to charge for wi fi . Terribles was
our choice. Free wi fi you would think all hotels could offer this but if they
are going to charge you for that what other hidden resort fees will you find?? I
happen to know the Herbst family personally and I do believe they lost this
casino hotel when the economy hit. But you still get the family feel of the
place cheap food and drinks . Even refills for soda at the store try to find
that at the big Hotels. It isnt the nicest place but you get what you pay for
here. .. My hint is to get a tower room I have stayed in the other rooms and
they are left over from the previous casino so yea very old. not sure if they
have been redone. If you have ever gotten gas at a Terribles station or car wash
then you will know what I mean about value and family feel. There are several
all over Vegas just look for the Flag. I can not tell you how many times I have
been to Vegas .. and would stay here again. If looking to impress yea stay on
the strip..

Roaches in the bathroom. No offer to move me to different room, instead sent man
with insecticide, which then smelt for the rest of the stay there. He removed
the bodies.
Need a car to get anywhere sensible. Buffet was cheap but not good. I guess you
get what you pay for. Free wifi was the only real positive......plus they
printed my boarding card for me. All the hotel and casino staff I encountered
were miserable apart from one dealer (Elanie or Elaine).
Fourth visit to Vegas......the only hotel I wouldn't go back to.

We were supposed to get an "updated tower room"... We ended up with a first
floor room, complete with a view of the back parking area where the employees
(and others) waited for the shuttle. If you stay here, ask to see your room
first!!

i stayed at Terribles once hated the room and hated the casino late at night
didn't always feel safe but the bingo room is second to none ive been to las
Vegas 23 in the last 8yrs and this is where i go the locals are fantastic made
some real good friend the staff are outstanding take time out to have a chat
with everyone and make you feel very welcome, there's some great prize money to
be be played for and won i have won 3 good amounts whist playing here (uk people
take id with you in case you win big) the slots seem to be very loose and the
cocktail waitress are always around this is a great place to be during the day
at night it fills up with a lot of young Mexican men who aren't very friendly.

Nice off-strip casino, not flashy but comfortable and not crowded like the
strip.
Buffets were ok, again, nothing flashy but good food.
Cafe seemed to have some issues. Some food was very good but I also had the
worst t-bone I have ever had. Staff didn't seem to care about it.
They have a nice pool.
They also have a "convenience store' which was great to get a coffee and a donut
or a pop or whatever.

We stayed at this hotel after our flight and right before driving to the Grand
Canyon. We arrived late (2 am our time!) so needless to say, all I wanted was a
clean quiet room - and I got it! It was so easy to find, easy to park. The
casino was kind of dark and smoky (but isn't that true of most casinos??) but
the check in was easy and the staff was pleasant. The casino is not huge, so it
was an easy walk to find the room. I was pleasantly surprised - the room was
clean and big. It overlooked the pool - which we enjoyed briefly the next
morning, for a little sunbathing before our drive to Arizona. The pool had nice
lounge chairs and towels. There was also a convenience store right near the pool
and casino with cheap snacks, coffee, and soda - something you don't find at the
fancy strip casinos where a bottle of water costs 3 bucks at the pool! It was
honestly great and I would definitely stay there again - it was only
$26!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, a great deal.
