Nice hotel. Excellent location. We upgraded to the north tower another wards the newer rooms...they were very nice. I can't imagine how the older rooms looked considering she said they haven't been renovated in 17yrs. No fridge which for twenty bucks extra a night to upgrade we thought would come with a fridge. All around Great location. Hotel/casino itself is beautiful. First stay in vegas and would definitely come back to Ballys to stay!

Typical casino hotel where you have to walk through the gaming area (a long way) to get to the elevators. But the location is very good, in the middle of the strip. I got a reasonable room rate, and the room was a good size and clean. But that’s about all it has going for it. Rip off internet, as most Vegas hotels on the strip seem to have….so head down to a coffee shop and buy a coffee or snack. The service was ok but nothing spectacular…you do feel like a number and just part of the process (eg check in….)

Went for business and as tourist with 3 colleagues to a conference that was held in Bally's. Very convenient location on the strip. The breakfast buffets served at the conf. were great and we had easy access to reasonably priced restaurants for our other meals. We took the advice of other travel reviews and upgraded to the North Tower. Rooms were very large and nicely kept each day (carpet a bit dirty). Contacted hotel personnel several times with questions and everyone was very helpful. We loved the pool area and bottom level shops. Only complaint was the expensive WiFi.

We upgraded to the north tower as it is nicer, large rooms, comfortable and of course the perfect location. The hotel is attached to the Paris and across the street from two wonderful other resorts. Pool is also very nice and good service throughout.
Room Tip: upgrade to north tower, spa too expensive to much

In any other city this hotel would probably be considered very decent by most I think. But when you compare it to many of the hotels that surround it in beautiful Las Vegas, you see it lacks in many areas. It is an old hotel that obviously needs many upgrades. The lobby just doesn't have the newer hip vibe that many other vegas places have. The pool is smaller and some would say not as exciting. But I did like that there is a deep end (12 feet) of the pool. That is very rare in Vegas. Our room was very spacious which was nice, but other than that very boring and old looking. It had an old style tv, which isn't a huge deal but I'm not sure what the last time was I was in a Vegas hotel and didn't have a nice flatscreen to watch. The staff was pretty nice. In conclusion I just believe for the prices they charge, Bally's really needs to do some serious upgrades to their building. But I have definitely seen worse! And you really can't beat the location.
