If you come to Vegas to enjoy gambling and walking the strip this is definitely
an option for you. The rooms are basic and clean, but nothing to write home
about. We stayed here due to the comp rates and location and were glad we did. I
wish the pool was a bit more fun - it's very basic. We'd consider staying here
again mainly due to it's central location on the strip.

I have stayed at Harrah's three times for work. Each time has been equally
disappointing.
The casino is one of the worst (if not the worst) in terms of the smoky air.
The rooms are very dirty. The lights literally flicker when you turn them on
(like a cheap motel in a movie); the curtains in my room had holes in the
blackout so light filtered in every morning.
There is a consensus from my coworkers that we should try to ensure we never
stay in Harrah's again.
It is one of the worst hotels I have ever visited.

Finally got back to Vegas a little over a year after being married there. For
those of you planning on getting married in Vegas be warned: you will have no
time to yourself to see the sights.
Having said that, this time it was my dear wife and I on a little trip to see
the sights. We bought our package through Allegiant Air and when we checked in
we opted to upgrade for a few dollars more ($140/ 5 nights) for a room in
Carnival Tower. Not much of a view of the strip, but we had an awesome view of
the Mirage volcano. Well what we could see through the very dirty window.
Anyway, our room had a safe which is great because with all the electronic
gadgets one has these days, it is nice to know you can lock them up securely.
Room service was great and we returned to a very clean room every time. I find
the service at Harrah's quite good, so I thank all of you folks who work hard so
we can have a great time.
Never tried the restaurants too much. I find the food on the strip so expensive.
If you have a rental car, I would suggest driving to the casinos in North Vegas
(10-15 minutes away), where buffets are $12-16 and if you sign up for a players
card, you get money off and even 2 for 1 coupons for future visits.
Two really great things about Harrahs: One, they never ever charge resort fees
which many other resorts do. Seems strange to me that a casino will charge you
an extra $10-20 night for the privilege of using the pool, etc. Secondly, not a
biggie, but Harrahs has video checkout which is a nice thing to do if you are in
a hurry to leave.
Harrah's was so good that I'll be going back in few weeks to stay there when I
go see Paul McCartney.

- have stayed many places in Las Vegas but will never stay at Harrah's again.
You have to ask them to bypass the A/C system in order to keep the room somewhat
cool. The staff really could care less if your there or not and they are great
at giving you incorrect information. Food BE CAREFUL where and what you eat. I
was in bed for 24hours due to food poisoning from Toby Keith's Bar/Rest. Overall
Bad place to stay service was the worst and rooms are tiny and Hot.
