Our family and friends came to this hotel after reading former reviews on this
website and it actually surpassed the reviews. Every person on the staff was
beyond nice and helpful (this includes the casino employees), the rooms
beautiful, the beds luxurious, even the shower outstanding. I loved the evenings
and mornings looking out the floor to ceiling windows to the desert and
mountains beyond. And oh, the restaurants - we ate at the steak house and the
Italian restaurant and both excellent. My favorite the steak one for the food
and the view of Las Vegas. We never could get into the buffet because the lines
were too long. Finally, all 4 of us won at the casino and couldn't have had a
better time. We will definitely return and thank you to the "M" for such a fine
vacation.

We just stayed at the "M" for two nights, it was a very nice resort, rooms were
large and aesthetically pleasing , though form trumps function a bit since
things like light switches were a bit hard to find and not intuitively placed,
shower was tricky to figure out at first, trying to find the "front desk" call
button on the phone was a p.i.t.a. since you had to scroll through a menu to
find it when it should have been a clearly labeled button on the front of the
phone. We were upgraded for free to a strip view room with an incredible view,
staff were all friendly and helpful. Beds were clean and comfortable, though the
down pillows were almost too soft and tended to smother you while you were
sleeping.
Good water pressure in shower, powerful flush on the toilet. Other than the
minor flaws I only had one real gripe with the rooms and that is that the walls
were too thin and I could clearly hear music/tv next door , could clearly hear
their conversation and make out that they were speaking spanish.
The best thing about the "M" is the Studio B buffet, this is hands down the best
buffet in Vegas, actually the best buffet I've ever had anywhere (and as my
increasing waistline will attest, I've had many) and very reasonably priced for
the incredible quality and variety of food you get for the money, especially
considering beer and wine are included (though I'm a non-drinker, so I can't
tell you how they are). Wait times can be long to get in, but trust me it's
worth it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the "M" , It's a better value for your
dollar than you will find on the strip and only a ten minute drive away.

I attended a conference here in May 2011. Not impressed. Rooms were very dark
(even with every single light on) and, compared to the other place I have stayed
in Vegas, rather small. Last time I was in Vegas, I stayed on the strip for less
money and for a room twice the size (and ten times the illumination!). Internet
connection was so slow as to be practically useless. (A call to their 'IT'
department was met by a guy who clearly couldn't care less and who assured me
he'd 'get right back to me'. Three guesses when he called me back. Hint: Never.)
Location-wise, be prepared to be smack dab in the middle of nowhere.
Yet another annoying thing for those of us who like to work out: fitness center
is within the spa, so it closes when the spa closes (at 7 PM), which made
working out very inconvenient. I had to dash down to the gym right after the
conference every day.
Wouldn't recommend this hotel, nor would I return myself.

This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed here passing through and were
treated like royalty. They offer a great discount for California residents, and
upon checking in we were upgraded to the most beautiful suite overlooking the
strip. The staff was so friendly, and the rooms are unbelievable! Very modern
technology in the rooms, you could absolutely live here!
We would absolutely stay here again. Only downfall is that it is about 20 min
from the strip, but that's great if you want/need to stay in Vegas and dont want
to deal with the chaos of the strip. This hotel is a gem, slightly removed from
the heart of Vegas, the hotel property is spotless, and very safe.

I just attended a conference at the M Resort, and while I initially questioned
the distance from the Vegas strip, I quickly realized that the hotel was perfect
not just for the conference (great facilities), but also for actual rest and
relaxation after work and night-time activities in Vegas. The resort has a
shuttle that goes to the strip and McCarran airport a few times a day, but if
you do not want to depend on it, your best bet is to rent a car. The room rates
are a great value for a self-contained resort complete with several restaurants
and bars, and an amazing bakery. The roof-top restaurant and bar, Veloce, offers
good food and a great view of the strip.Guest Reviews M Hotel Casino Las Vegas

This hotel is too far from the strip to effectively stay here if you want to be
in Vegas, but not elegant enough to be a get-away resort if you're wanting to be
far enough away from everything. The strip is a $40+ cab ride away one way and
the spa won't allow men & women on the same side, which makes it hard for a
couple to get away together.
The service is HORRIBLE at the eating establishments and the food itself
mediocre. Because it's in the middle of no where, you can't really even go
anywhere to eat.
They claimed the pool was closed for weather the whole time I was there which
was bull crap as it was warm & sunny. When I complained, an employee secretly
told me they were too short-staffed and that's why the pool was really closed.
They play the exact same songs over and over again throughout the entire hotel.
There are only so many times you can hear "Kentucky Woman," people.
No overhead lights, the walls were thin enough I could hear the people in the
next room's conversation word for word.
Unless work demands it (this is where my conference was), I sincerely doubt I
will ever stay here again. |
