Staying at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas was mind blowing. The rooms
were gorgeous and spacious, we had such a fantastic view of the strip and the
lights at night. The service was brilliant, no complaints at all. The people at
the resort were so friendly, it made our stay even better. Even though we did
not stay very much at the hotel during the day as there was so much to see on
the strip, when we were in the hotel..it was breathtaking .
The food at the various restaurants (there were loads!) were great and there was
such a variety of places to eat. This hotel is more or less in the middle of the
strip which was so convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting
to stay on the strip in Vegas..it was fantastic!!!!

Booked this hotel for $130 through Hotel Tonight on the iPhone. Great room with
Hollywood memorabilia. Ours was the Close Encounters room and included a glass
case with one of the alien models. A little unsettling in the middle of the
night, but fun. As with all Las Vegas properties, this one required a long walk
from the parking garage through the shopping mall and casino to the hotel and
registration desk.

Nice hotel - A little of a young crowd. Nice rooms, good service. Great
location, right in the heart of the strip, we enjoyed that the Miracle Mile was
attached to the hotel. Nice casino, not too big, could do with a wider variety
of games. Would stay here again.
Room Tip: Ask for standard room with view of the strip. We had a great view of
the Bellagio fountains.

The room was dark and smelled bad. However, the customer service was very good.
When I complained about the smell, the front desk was prompt and tried to make
it right. The hotel is old and it has that "smell". The bathrooms didn't have
ventilation. The beds were great! Slept good.

Our 4th stay in las Vegas and we were pretty stoked to stay at Planet Hollywood.
I was left pretty disappointed though....not sure what I hated about it but I
sure didn't love it. Pros-amazing strip location, attached to Miracle Mile
Shops, and it has PF Changsha which is super good food. Cons-staff does not seem
to enjoy their jobs...none of them, room was smallish with VERY little clothing
space (2 drawers and a little armoire with 6 hangers), beds had seen waaaay
better days, cleanliness was questionable, 2 coffeemakers didn't work (yes they
had coffee makers - add to pro list if they work) and on last day we needed to
stay 4 hours past check in due to severe back injury and they charged us for a
full nights stay. So...meh...for the extra cash, try mirage or treasure island.
Ive even stayed at Ballys and had better experiences. |
