Upscale for a reasonable rate. I felt welcome at this hotel. The employees were
very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. It is a beautiful property.

We were in town for a wedding, and this was the hotel for the guests. The bride
and groom live in Vegas and picked this spot as the best resort in town. Very
beautifully decorated and designed resort. Lots to do at the resort. Amazing
pools and lounge chairs. Lush bars and hang out spots. Plush rooms with
attention to detail, most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Wonderful view of
the canyons and desert. Good restaurants for all tastes. Buffet is HUGE. Brewery
has 1/2 yard beers, their own tasty brews. Poolside grill is very good too. From
a fine dining restaurant to food court to Starbucks, everyone can find something
to enjoy any time of the day or night. I didn't gamble, but they have a wide
selection and cocktail waitresses and nice atmosphere.
Only downside was the shuttle service. Needs improvement, especially because the
hotel is on the outskirts of town and a cab costs $60 from the strip. I
recommend your first trip on the shuttle originate at the resort so you know
where the stop on the strip is, its really hard to find and staff on the phone
have no idea where it is. They do give you cold water on the bus which is nice.
Since it is owned by the UFC owners, we saw a famous fighter hanging out there!

Got lucky enough to stay 2 nights at the Red Rock for the Fourth of July. The
fireworks was awesome and I had a great night of playing many of my favorite
machines and some new ones to boot. My room was inviting and comfortable and the
staff made my stay very pleasant.
Room Tip: The wing I stayed in had two elevators one near the lobby/casino and
the other lets out by the pool. Tell the front desk your preference.

My wife, two daughters, and I started a week long trip in Vegas and Los Angeles
off at the Red Rock. We arrived at 0930 in the morning and were given a room
immediately. The hotel is a short drive from the airport. The rooms are very
spacious, and nice. The entire resort is perfect for families. There are several
pools, bowling alley, movies, and a large casino. There are several choices for
different types of eating. We rented a cabana for one day, and really enjoyed
having the privacy to relax out of the heat and sun. All of the staff were very
kind and eager to please. The beds were extremely comfortable.
I had a massage in the spa and it was one of the best massages I have had. I
used the steam room and sauna on the other days, as the fee is covered in the
resort fee you are required to pay. It was very nice and large.
We drove over to Freemont street for dinner one night, and it was about a 7
minute drive. I would highly recommend this hotel if you would like to be off of
the strip, and enjoy some nice relaxing time. We had stayed at the Ritz Carlton
in Lake Las Vegas before to be off of the strip, but we enjoyed the Red Rock
much more for the amenities that were offered. You will not be sorry!! |
