We stayed for a couple of night in this hotel. The name doesn't sound very good,
but the hotel will offer you everything you need for a visit to LV.
Room was very spacious and clean, with nice views to the swimming pool. Beds
were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and big. The hotel is just a couple
of blocks from the Strip (the main road where most fancy hotels are located),
away enough from it to sleep without noise, and close enough to reach all places
quickly.
We didn't use at all the casino from the entrance, we just wanted one place to
sleep and from where to visit other things.
Parking is free, as everywhere in LV, that's why we think it's a good choice for
people travelling with a car.
The hotel's buffet is cheap and there are many things to pick. The quality was
average.
Before staying in the Terribles hotel we were for one night in the Circus Circus
hotel. We preferred Terribles.

Loved this place. They provide a hotel shuttle for free, the rooms are clean,
the casino is nice and large, they are very friendly, and it is a 1 mile walk to
the strip or a short taxi ride. There is also a city bus, although we didn't use
it. We liked it so much we even came back to stay again at the end of the same
trip.

My boyfriend and I decide to try this cafe during our trip there in March
finally after many, many trips to Vegas and always saying we are going to head
over there see what all the hub-bub is about on their $9.99 menu, which we had
heard was pretty amazing? (huh?). I admit I was a bit apprehensive after opening
the casino doors when I was taken back to the 70s in all its glory including the
wafting smoke soaked decor. Definitely a "smoker" friendly place and they don't
try to mask it at all like the swanky places on the strip... After finding out
that the "Cafe" was hiding on the 2nd floor we headed up the scary sounding
elevator with guarded anticipation and walked through many more clouds of smoke
to arrive at the Cafe. We were seated promptly and everyone was friendly and the
place was very clean. Our server, Paul, was very attentive. My boyfriend ordered
the ribs albeit a bit reluctantly because a gentleman at the table right next to
us complained very loudly about his order of ribs-only after having eaten more
than half the plate and then re-ordered the T-bone....we were amazed at how fast
he was taken care of and a new meal brought to him-the server was very attentive
and super understanding. Anyhow, my boyfriend ordered the ribs and I ordered the
t-bone medium rare with a dinner salad. We received our order and could not
believe the size??? Wow, that's surprising? I should have skipped the dinner
salad.. Anyway, my t-bone was cooked to perfection, I could not believe how good
it was, a top 3 all time great steak for me, potato was large and I was provided
everything on the side as I like-so I could top as I like. My boyfriend
thoroughly enjoyed his ribs, said they were juicy and tender, he did say the
barbeque sauce could have been better as it tasted very ketchup-y as he put it,
but he enjoyed them nevertheless.... We went back for breakfast the day we left
and everything was perfect a great deal as well. Terribles Cafe is definitely on
our list as good cheap eats when we are in Vegas. Thanks! Terrible's!!! :)

I heard the buffet here was great.. was staying up the street and it was within
walking distance. Actually went in the wee hours after clubbing and the damn
buffet was not open. So I figured well we are already here and the food on the
buffet comes from the same kitchen.. so we should've been safe right?
NOT................ I got some kind of mystery meat as a steak.... People (when
you cant tell the preparation method) RUN.... I normally ask for my eggs to be
prepared scrambled soft... this time they came to me that way... which I
should've known was an issue... but honestly when your tipsy and sleepy... but
know you need to eat... you just do.. WELL I WISHED I WOULD'VE RAN. The bubble
guts and diarrhea I got the next day wasn't worth it! Maybe the buffet is the
bomb, but if so, they must have different cooks, a different kitchen or BOTH.... |
