Stayed at The Trump while on business in Vegas for 5 nights. Also had some free
time for pleasure. Stayed in December, so the pool was closed. Pro's: Beautiful
rooms, with kitchenettes, clean, comfortable, jacuzzi tub, gym

We stayed in Vegas for a week around the New Year and loved this location. We
weren't in the large crowds of young people in Las Vegas, but we were close
enough we could walk there if we wanted

Very nice hotel. The room was perfect with an extraordinary bathroom! The view
was boring, but how much time do you spend looking out? I loved the reserved
elevator for rooms 52 and above, so we never waited more than 30 seconds. The
pool area was very ordinary, not the main attraction, that's for sure. Only had
breakfast at the restaurant, and very expensive ...But, isn't everything else in
Vegas? Can't get a cocktail under $12.50, witch is a rip off if you ask me. Even
a beer will cost you $8.50. The shopping center across the street, the fashion
show, is the perfect place to buy some beer at a normal price, or a nice bottle
of rum...So you can enjoy in your beautiful suite at the Trump hotel! The only
downside of this hotel is the walking distance to all the action...Get in shape
people, because lots of walking in Vegas. Taxi's are a rip off, so be prepared.
But all in all, I don't regret this hotel. Very friendly staff working, and very
comfortable rooms. The price is good and the pillows are perfect! Enjoy

My experience with this hotel from beginning to end was great! This is a piece
of heaven after you have spent some time gambling in the other hotels with
casinos. You don't have that noise or hectic feel to it. Customer service is
excellent, and I would like to be the first to nominate Janet, front desk, for a
raise or promotion. She is a great asset to this hotel! The whole Trump staff in
my opinion is superior in the area of customer service. Cudos to the attention
to training in this area. In reading other reviews some have had complaints, but
in my experience of staying in hotels I rarely leave without there being
something to complain about. The difference with Trump Hotel is that complaints
were dealt with in a timely manner, staff was professional in addressing the
complaint, and to our surprise my husband and I were upgraded to a wonderful one
bedroom suite for the remainder of our stay. Some have complained about the cost
of the stay, but when you look at the fact that in every standard room there is
a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, whirlpool, and a small television
cleverly placed in the mirror of the bathroom mirror I don't find the price
unreasonable. When you research the cost of the other hotels on the strip, and
research what they offer they are just as costly and don't offer anything. My
husband and I were happy with our stay at Trump and do plan on staying here when
we return for a visit.
The strip rooms are beautiful, but if you have to take a city view, which are
cheaper and also offered with travel specials, you can call customer service
before your trip and sometimes the hotel will upgrade you to a strip room if
they have plenty available during the time you are visiting. Also request to be
placed in a room that is farthest away from the train track. You can hear the
train where ever you are staying, but there are certain rooms that the sound is
not as intense. |
