We paid pennies to stay at Tuscany while I attended a training course which was
held in one of the rooms on the meeting floor. The meeting room was well mnaged.
The staff was in the room preparing the food and drinks well in advance

Perfect off-strip stay. Quiet at night, while only 2 blocks from the action.
Taxis to the strip for around $10 or less! Parking right at the room. Heated
swimming pool - open in November until 10pm. Marilyn's Cafe

I have stayed here 4 times and I do like it. Clean, nice but this last time I
did not have a great experience. They put me in a suite which was great, but
everytime someone was walking by the room or in the room upstairs from us it was
so loud when I told them the next morning of me not getting any sleep they told
me I should have called them last night so they could have security go up and
tell them to be quiet. My response was they were not partying it was just them
walking to the bathroom was very loud. The room cost me $75 well it was suppose
to be found out it was $85 so i have to call them about that. and they gave me a
$20 comp on my room....really??? I stayed there for 5 nights they could have
done something more. Not to mention the manager was rather rude on the phone
with me. I was at this hotel for business for possibly bringing them a large
conference next year. This experience with the Manager was the reason I say no.

Tuscany was a great choice for me. I don't like 1000-5000 room hotels. This
charming spread out complex over multiple acres was nice. You are about 4 blocks
from the Strip. Definitely 3 1/2 stars. There have a bunch of 3 story buildings
and your car is never far away. No long hikes to and through a parking garage.
The room felt as though it was new even though built 9 years ago. The only thing
to give it away was the old time TV. Think Embassy Suites but much bigger room
with the little kitchen and eating space. Beware though of the "resort fee" of
$12.75 per day which is added to your bill when you leave. If you arrive before
2pm there is another $10.00 fee for early arrival.

You cant fault the Tuscany it is nice and homely. The rooms are spacious and
spotless. The staff in Marilyns and the casino are very friendly and helpful.
Aldo is a manager in Marilyns he makes you very welcome. The pool area is just a
nice size. There is also a nice gift shop on site. I have been there three times
always enjoyed it. This time though they have started to charge resort fees
which adds a bit on to the cost of your holiday. Still good value. |
