My wife and I stayed at the Wynn for our 15-year anniversary.
Our stay did not start off well as there was little organization at the front
desk, and we got stuck behind a rude party that wanted to haggle over a
last-minute booking. However, once we were finally checked in the service was 5
star at every turn.
The resort itself is beautiful and you could spend hours just crushing around
marveling at all the high-quality materials that went into a design that is
nearly flawless in its execution. Our room was huge considering the price we
paid. We were on the 52nd floor with an amazing view of the city, complete with
a massive bathroom and sitting room.
A note for light sleepers: at the 52nd floor I could still hear the bass from
the club and the DJ yelling over tracks. If you are a party animal then you wont
mind a bit, but I think some of the more conservative travelers might want the
room to be a complete sanctuary. It is not. People are screaming in the halls,
and well, it’s Vegas. I was not really bothered because I’m there to party too,
but I can see why someone else might be put out.
Everyone on the staff is very friendly and professional. Aside from the front
desk, I really have no negative comments about any of the service I received at
this resort.
Of course the casino beautiful and expensive. Personally, I prefer to stay
somewhere nice and gamble on the strip. But if you don’t mind high minimums,
Both the Encore and the Wynn casinos will meet or exceed your expectations for a
good time. For a larger selection of games and a more lively crowd, I would say
your best bet is the Wynn Casino as it has more action. The Encore Casino is
much more intimate, but I was not feeling it there.
I do not do Vegas but once every five years, and I am not sure when I will go
back; but if the price is right when I do, the Encore is at the top of my list.

Stayed for 4 nights, having previously stayed twice at Wynn. Staff are really
fantastic. Service and food quality excellent- loved Society cafe, very
reasonable and the breadsticks wow! Staff are knowledgeable, courteous and
genuinely take pride in ensuring the highest standards throughout the property.
Public areas are immaculately maintained. 5 minutes to check in- acknowledged as
previous guests. It's hard to review something that I have nothing to really
take issue with- I guess the rooms aren't a massive wow factor if you're used to
that kind of thing and the sofa is not amazingly comfortable (unlike the beds
which are just stunningly comfy).
Get the red card- very easy to rack up points, I think it was 250 for a buffet
for two people which was easily redeemed; just ask at the desk. So we enjoyed
two free trips to the buffet during our stay- my are the deserts heavenly! We
enjoy walking over to the the Fashion Show Mall across the road, very easy to
get to from Wynn. Here there is a Starbucks where you can pick up a tall brewed
for $1.50. Bus stop outside if you fancy a jaunt downtown or maybe take a stroll
to the Bellagio Conservatory (30 mins) if you are botanically inclined. Just
enjoy the calm, tranquility and light (and a drink or 5 from the regular
cocktail service- recommend a white Russian!) Encore truly is so relaxing, you
feel energized and chilled at the same time. Nothing is too much trouble. I
guess everything is relative and it is easy to take for granted the subtle
touches that make it such a special place.

Loved everything about the Wynn. Décor, service was fantastic. Not in the
busiest part of the strip but that suited us fine as we love to walk around the
strip. highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Encore in June 2011. My bf had stayed there on
a previous visit and raved about this hotel - upon arrival I could absolutely
understand where he we as coming from. From walking in to the lobby you are
greeted with the plush surroundings. Check in was straight forward and pleasant
- some people commented it took a long time which I could see at 12 noon/1pm but
at other times it was fine.
The room (King Suite) was fantastic . The most amazing bed and a lovely big
bathroom. we were on the 11th floor facing the strip. I have to say that the
noise was not as bad as people make out. Ok, on weekends you can hear some bass
noise from the club but its not massively loud or disturbing.
The pools are lovely - Wynn probably more so and again despite some reviews, the
pool servers were always readily available and asking if we were ok.
We walked around most hotels and this one definitely stood out as being one of
the best, if not the best i saw. Its pure class and has a very respectable
clientele - even a couple of actors and footballers when we were there :-)
I have high standards and I am surprised at some of the negative comments about
the service and pools etc - we never had a problem and i would be back in a
flash.
Thank you Encore for a great stay!

The Wynn and Encore at Wynn are gorgeous hotels. This is my 5th stay in Las
Vegas, and this by far is the nicest hotel I have stayed in. I was in a king
suite, with a great view of the mountains ( I prefer that to the strip).
Beatituful foyer, bathroom with stand up shower and sunken tub, great
bedroom-comfy bed- and great living room area with couch. The only complaint is
that the bathroom shelf had rings on it from cups or whatever, so it hadn't been
cleaned properly. The hotel food is very pricey, but that's just how it is in
Vegas hotels. You can easily walk across the street to the fashion show mall
which has great shops and cheaper eating options.
Overall, great stay and I will never stay anywhere else in Vegas! |
