Fourth time we've stayed at the Green Giant - can't beat the pool and lazy river
which is worth the cost alone. Rooms are plenty big enough and, to be honest, if
you're in there for anything other than night time activities or sleep you're
wasting time that could be spent better elsewhere.

Stayed here one night only after arriving a day early in Vegas. Huge busy lobby
with long queues to check in, however eventually secured a suite with a view of
Hooters and the airport! Cost of room was surprisingly cheap. Suite was
comfortable, airy and clean. Big bathroom and very comfy bed. Didnt spend much
time in hotel but ate in one of its restaurants and a one course meal for 2 with
a glass of wine each cost more than the room. Considerably more in fact! All in
all a good stay but much preferred the Bellagio, which was our next
accommodation in Vegas.

We stayed at MGM Grand for 3 nights last weekend. We stayed at this hotel in
1999 when it was a fairly new hotel. While this big hotel is showing signs of
aging, it is obvious that they are trying to keep up with maintaining it (the
carpets looks new) and all most areas look clean and updated. The public
washrooms are rundown with locks not working on stalls and a grubby appearance.
The room was average, nothing spectacular.
The grand buffet breakfast is still really great just like I remembered except
for the fruit selection. I seem to remember every different kind of fruit
imaginable back in 99 but this time just some melon and apples. This seems to be
a common theme at all buffets and even the recent carnival cruise that we went
on so I am assuming the price of things like strawberries is high (?). I don't
know but the only strawberries that we saw in Vegas were at the $36.99 Bellagio
gourmet buffet.
Service at MGM grand is great. The wait to check in was quick (and they had a
room ready for us at 11am). They check your luggage and look after it until your
room is ready and after you check out until you go to the airport. Concierge
staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to find show tickets
for us.
The free shuttle to Primm Nevada for MGM guests was awesome.
The Las Vegas Monorail website makes me laugh as it boasts about security person
at all their stations. I never saw one person at any of the stations.
Overall, MGM Grand met our expectations for the price.

My husband, two children and I recently stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las
Vegas for 4 nights. The room was not as described and the customer service was
the worst I have ever experienced at any hotel. I would not recommend staying at
this hotel!!!!

If it is your first time in Vegas, and you don't want to play in the Casino, you
should think about shows. There are excellent shows in Vegas. Check if your
favourite show is offered with a deal in your hotel.
