just back from 8 days at the MC and we loved it. the room was clean, big enough,
good view from window over the pool towards rio & the palms etc, flat screen tv,
daily maid service and a lift that went straight to floor 23 + above.
waitress service when playing the machines was quite quick and they kept coming
back. the casino wasn't as large as some we went to but it was always nice to
get back to ours for that bit of space and relaxed feel.
the buffet + cafe + food court was good but the brand steakhouse and a few of
the better restaurants were a bit pricey (for us) although service was excellent
at all of them.
the pool was a bit crowded and some sun beds were in the shade first thing and
late on but overall it was nice
the shop was a bit pricey but there is a Walgreens and an abc store right over
the street and next door
the MC is perfect for visiting the other hotels and has a deuce bus stop
outside, we'd definitely stay here again

We stayed here over memorial weekend and this is one of the worst hotels iv'e
ever stayed at in Vegas... They said they upgraded but def down graded in
service. We had to wait for hours at 2Pm as they said rooms were dirty and they
were short handed on cleaners (dumb since it was a busy weekend) took 3 hours
before we got a room and as we arrived lady still cleaning. We ordered room
service and it took hour and a half to call and receive then our cart of dirty
food sat in front of our room for 2 days. Every time you ride in the elevator
you will hear the same advertisements over & over (annoying) The beds are hard
as a rock, linens are nice and flat screen nice but small... They copy everybody
else at the pool- played such loud music you had to scream to talk, so the pool
is very loud, not relaxing what so ever. They need to upgrade there speakers
outside cause it kept cutting out every couple min (left the pool cause they
ruined my relaxing time) Also stayed here for floating river, it's a lie- they
have one and it's extremely small not even worth going into.. D.vino is a good
Italian place with good service...Don't plan on getting a drink while gambling
here also, couldn't find anybody and if you did they were so rude..

Stayed at the Monte Carlo my last night
in Vegas on May 26, 2011. Had been in Vegas for a week and stayed at HGV at the
Flamingo,
Golden Nugget and finally Monte
Carlo. Booked an MLife deal online and paid total of about $46 Cdn including
taxes and resort fee. I really like this hotel. It is a bit older but very clean
and classy. The food court is a quick, cheap alternative to expensive meals.
Casino is big and roomy. Rooms very clean and beds very comfy. Bartender at The
Pub was serving some very generous 2-for-1 drinks to us - wowee! We had a liquid
dinner that night with some sliders to counter the alcohol.
The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. When I checked in
with my cousin and her hubby we asked for - and received - rooms on the same
floor and I got a room very close to the elevator (I walk with a cane). Valets
were the same. Everyone working at this property seemed that way. I have stayed
at Monte twice now and probably the best compliment I can give is that it felt
like home.

This was our second time staying at this resort and we will be returning
annually. Love this place!!! Rooms clean, cheap and great location. Free tram
from hotel goes to aria, crystals, and Bellagio.
Great for people who want to save themselves from blisters. Food court is
decent. We didnt eat at any of the sit down restaurants because we usually left
the hotel and went out at night. Pool is great, with wave pool and lazy river
and a couple smaller pools and hot tub. Im sure there are more luxurious hotels
on the strip, but for the price, and if you arent extremely fussy, this s a
GREAT PLACE!!!!!!! Join their email club and you'll get a promo code to book
your next trip. Was about 350 after all resort fees and taxes for FIVE nights.
Cant beat it for location. |
