stayed 2 nights last week .We thought the place felt so comfortable and friendly
Very clean rooms .Yes its not as glitzy as the top strip hotels but as we have
been to them .we wanted to give this place a try Will definitely be back buffet
and food court all good slots quite loose .They will never get any looser now
.Only met one lady who checked us in who must have been having a bad day but
overall everybody else was lovely. Cocktail waitresses came around quite a lot
so that was good. lovely little older lady at players club booth explained all
the promotions that was on to us .She was a credit to the hotel .shuttle to
strip good .they did get busier later on at night though . Hope to be back very
soon .

I had to write and echo all the positive reviews. We stayed here last September
to be in the hotel where the Olyimpia was being held as this was our primary
reason for going to Vegas. The hotel itself turned out to be a wonderful
surprise. I had contacted the hotel ahead of time requesting a higher floor room
with a strip view and a mini fridge. Both requests were granted and they even
comped us the fridge. We ended up returning the fridge because we heard there
was a waiting list for them and we didn't want one of the competitors to be
without one so we could keep our beer and water cold :)
We took the free shuttle to the strip for half a day and couldn't wait to get
back to the Orleans. We were constantly accosted by people trying to sell us
stuff like time shares; even in the lobby of several hotels. The pool was great,
the fitness centre more than adequate, the staff was very accommodating, the
choice of restaurants was fantastic and even though we lost several hundred
dollars, I wouldn't say the games were tight. Everything you need on a vaction
is here. It even has it's own liquor store, bowling alley and movie theatre.
We are going back to the Orleans to watch the Olympia in September and will be
staying here again. We'll spend 3 nights on Fremont Street first before moving
to the Orleans and hope we enjoy the other Boyd property as well as we enjoyed
this one.

My Second visit to Vegas, and was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms are
good sized, was on the 19th floor overlooking the mountains. Room service was
very prompt and friendly. Many places to eat within the hotel, and the buffet
was very good. Lovely pool area with plenty of recliners. Casino machines a bit
tight, but par for the course. Only real complaint was with slow service from
bar maids, and the wait time to get a drink. There was a problem with the
elevators not working properly the day of checkout, a little inconvenient, but
these things do happen. Overall, a great place to stay, friendly staff, good
food and service, and economically feasible for those on a tight budget. Would
definitely stay here again

The Hotel is very nice, with a BIG casino in the hall, and with so many
restaurants and shops. But it's difficult to get to the Strip. The free shuttle
isn't coming half an hours, and if it comes, it is very likely that you can get
on at late night on the Strip. So it is better to go by car! The room was quite
good, but there is NO free wifi IN the room!!! The pool and the bar is so good!
Last morning the maid was knocking on each door to "check the room" at 8:30...

I stayed in 2 rooms, got moved because some kiddies convention with teens
arriving and shouting in halls at all hours kept waking me. That said I loved
the stay. The room aside from the hall noise is quiet, no toilet flushing or
headboard banging from other rooms. Big window for light and bathroom window
that opens for fresh air. CLEAN, no bugs, no smears no stains that I saw. Big
comfy bed with 3 pillows. NO GROSS bedspread!!! just a nice clean sheet and
blanket. THANK YOU! Will definitely stay here again. Free shuttle to the strip
ever half hour, but we used our car. SLOTS are tighter then a knats butt on a
lemon wedge, Did NOT like gaming there. They had some fun new slots that were
looser, but I only saw one jackpot win in 3 days, vs. seeing 2 in Bellagio and 4
in MGM when we were there for a few hours. Valet and front desk was pleasant.
Food court and a few restaurants including TGIF. Crowd is nice, clean and
pleasant unlike the crowd at Southpoint.

Rooms were clean and everything we needed was right here in the "Orleans". MOvie
theater, casino, food (lots of choices). Friendly staff, good security and the
pool was big! Fun place!!! Even better was the room price and the strip was just
a hop, skip and a jump away...

We had a fantastic stay at the Orleans. The room was incredible!
Must eat at the buffet when there, I can see why it gets such high ratings.
Great food, lots of variety.
We were there for the IMX magic convention. We were treated very well by the
staff. |
