Beautiful suite--loved our afternoons trying out the various pools from both hotels. Loved the Grand Lux for dinner and breakfast. The ride in the elevator 45 floors was new to us...

My complaint is with housekeeping. We were gone by early morning and back at 3pm and the room still was not cleaned. When I called, they said it was because we were up so many floors and would send someone right up--which they did. The second time was ridiculous. But on the day we checked out...a man was there at 9:30 to suddenly change light bulbs and housekeeping was knocking at the door at the same time. But truly, the overall experience with the hotel, pools and Jersey Boys was great. I researched the hotels in Vegas thru this sight, and reviews helped so much. It was nice to not have to go far after the late show for Jersey Boys--we could just roam the hotel.

Here's a tip if you are a coffee drinker. There is no coffee maker in the room. My husband and I had great mornings getting coffee and playing a few games of slots. But don't stand in line at the coffee shop right off the elevators---go to the Grand Lux coffee shop---instead of waiting in line 30 minutes.

We also enjoyed the restaurant by the pool as well. Just prepare to pay far more than you would ever ever imagine in Vegas, for everything. Take a break from the strip and go to the Fremont light show--and red rocks. After a long winter, the sun and fun were just what we needed.

Great room, friendly service, everything you could want in one place.

My family and I stayed at the Palazzo late June and had two adjoining suites (a bella suite a luxury suite). One has a king and one has two queens. My wife and I stayed at the Venetian a few years ago for a wedding anniversary - and loved it (although found many of the same issues I will mention below).

The location is absolutely first rate and the quality of the venetian / Palazzo rooms, lobby, shops, etc. Is also beyond compare. However, we have been very disappointed in the service - and it felt to us that once we were there - that is when the good service ended. Don't get me wrong, the service wasn't bad as such but they certainly didn't make us feel like they cared or wanted to do anything for us - not what you would expect for such a high class hotel.

The Palazzo is the most un-family friendly place you can imagine despite us working out some arrangements in advance - they let us down in this regard.

Our room was only ready at 5pm (we had to wait some hours), but when we asked for a late check-out, we were told we had to pay. We felt overall that they charged us for anything and everything they possibly could - the fee for the adjoining suites (despite the fact it just means that the door between the suites is unlocked) is over the top - and was applied to both room accounts.

Disappointed.

I stayed here for a night after the Electric Daisy Carnival. It took 20 min to check in. The room was big but half of the furniture was outdated and broken. The pool was VERY dirty and there were not enough chairs for all of the people in it. At the end I didn't know there was going to be a "resort fee", which made it even more disappointing. Service was also bad- you had to wait to call any service.

I love this hotel. It's the best hotel on that part of the strip. It's close to cheap gambling (at Bill's Gamblin Hall & Saloon), it has great clubs (Lavo & Tao Beach), and it CAN be reasonably priced if you go on a weekday. The hotel rooms are really big, we got the Bella Suite which had 2 doubles, a couch & a pullout couch. We had 6 people in the room and all slept comfortably.

The service was good compared to other Vegas hotels I've stayed in. I would definitely stay there again. If you are into pool parties & have a large group get a daybed ($500 minimum) at Tao Beach. It's a really cool place, good music, good food, delicious drinks.
