Sams Town Hotel and Casino Reviews

We have had on and off experiences with Sam's Town and this was definitely off.
Our room did not look like any of the pictures shown. It was very small and very
worn and not easy to get to. I definitely would not go back if this was the only
room I could get. My fault, I should have asked for an upgrade or gone back and
asked for another room, but this was a last minute booking so I we took what we
could get. I definitely would not have stayed in this room if we were there for
more than one night. The bright side is that the buffet is much improved over
what it had been in times past. The selection and quality were very good for
breakfast. There are also multiple fast food eateries if that is your choice.
The casino seems brighter than when we were last there which is good. Cannot say
that I would recommend the hotel unless you managed to get a better room, and
there were plenty that we could see when we walked down the hall and the doors
were open for cleaning. A big disappointment for us.

We stayed at Sam's town for 14nts and we loved it. the room was fantastic it had
a coffee maker, fridge and 2 reclining chairs. the staff are so friendly and
helpful, the hotel has got loads of amenities that you never need to go out.
with the money we saved coming to Sam's town we could hire a car so getting to
the strip was easy but we also could explore outside of Vegas.
We loved every minute at sam's town and would recommend it we have stayed on the
strip before and the rooms are not as good, the hotels are to noisy and most
importantly to dear for what you get. would we go back to sam's town? YES
please.

I would recommend Sam's Town to any one of any age. Excellent staff that goes
out of the way for information of the gratuities that is offered and things to
do. Yes it is off the strip of the hub bub. Quiet is the norm their. You can
relax in the park with a book or just listen to the birds sing. Many eating
establishments in , what ever your taste buds require at a moments notice. And
the machines are well kept up, you won't find out of order on these machines
like at some casinos. The pit staff will show you how to play if in doubt about
a game of chance. All over I have been to Sam's Town 5 times in two years and
this is the only place I stay in play. Don't care for the strip to gamble I will
always prefer Sam's to all others. I have stayed other places in Vegas years ago
and above all I recommend Sam's all the way to stay and play and to relax.

I really enjoy this hotel. I always get an upgraded room. They tend to be
better, larger and in a better location , and for a few dollars more it is well
worth it. There is only one problem and it seems that the Hotel Management will
not do anything about it. And that is the last Shuttle of the day to Downtown
Las Vegas. Since it does not get dark until well after 8PM, the last shuttle
goes from Sams Town to Downtown at 8:15 PM. It arrives
at the El Cortez Hotel at 8:15-8:20. Then the shuttle departs at approx, 9PM. I
saw half of the people that arrived on the bus miss it. They had to take a taxi
at a cost of 20-30
Dollars. I mentioned it to the Hotel Management only to get a shrug and was told
that this has been an ongoing problem for a long time but the Hotel will not do
anything about it. It is a shame because it is such a great hotel and this small
thing could be rectified.

It was horrible! Felt as though the matters was stuffed with newspaper! Cable
was fuzzy and tv was probably 30 years old. I slept horribly. Buffet was way to
salty. I would rather eat at McDonalds. I will never stay here again.

Sams Town is really a lovely place to stay and dine. I enjoyed gambling and the
dining. I cant wait until 2012 to return.
