Fourth stay at the Silverton. Place has a great location if you are looking for
something off the strip. Good access to the freeway, airport and Bass Pro Shops.
Restaurants are convenient and prices are reasonable. Great specials at the
Steak House. Will stay there again.

We're not much for crowds so the Silverton was a fantastic choice for us. It's
conveniently located - just a short trip to the strip and downtown. It has an
excellent buffet and 24 hr restaurant and the casino is clean and less crowded
than any of the strip casinos. If you want to go to the strip they offer a free
shuttle several times a day but it's only about a 25 dollar cab ride each way if
the schedule doesn't work for you. We took the shuttle to the strip and a cab
home when we felt like it - worked out great. This was a very nice place to stay
- clean room with very comfortable beds, nice pool, nice casino, the aquarium
(with mermaids) is really cool to watch while you take a break and the rates
were excellent. My only disappointment was that the staff didn't offer anything
when informed several times that this was out 10 year anniversary - even a
bottle of champagne would have been a nice gesture. If it seems like I'm
nit-picking, I am, but I think they goofed on a nice customer service
opportunity which is one of the reasons I marked them down on service. All in
all we highly recommend the Silverton for those who don't want the hustle and
bustle of a strip hotel and we will definitely make it our choice next time we
visit.

Love the Silverton!! Super staff, great rooms, very good food! We always make it
a point to play here, even if we aren't staying here. When we have stayed here
the rooms are clean, comfortable and very easy to get to. Staff is very nice and
friendly. we have eaten here many times and the food is great!!

There was a carnival in the hotel parking lot the entire weekend, which made
getting in and out of the casino time consuming.

great hotel, great room. very comfortable. But we had a horrible night with a
lot of noise coming from a private party at the pool that went on all night (our
room faced the pool area). So with a family of 6, nobody got any sleep. We just
stayed 1 night |
