This hotel is so beautiful. we were more than excited to stay here, our suite
was huge, the food is fine, very neat, it's partner hotel palazzo is just one
block away, we did the blue man group show here which was fantastic ,,,the hotel
is so big that it takes more than 15 mins to walk from the front desk to the
room.....you might get lost. :) and there is one thing u might not be aware with
is the minibar, they have these censors once u pick the box or a drink etc.u
might get charged so be careful ,u pick u eat. We would definitely love to go
back, would recommend everyone too......

First time in Vegas with my GF and wanted to stay somewhere nice. The location
is right in the heart of the strip. The rooms are huge with 3 tvs and a sunken
living room. There are 3 sets of elevators separated for different floors so u
don't have to wait long. There are plenty of nice restaurants and clubs to
choose from and the whole place is really beautiful with the Venice theme and
gondola rides. If you play a lot in their casino they will comp your food and
drinks. Just charge it to your room and ask casino credit before you checkout.

First, the warning - we were in a suite with 2 wood steps leading down into the
sitting area. I slipped and fell going down the steps in bare feet, as they were
so highly waxed, they were like glass, or stepping onto a skating rink! I don't
drink much so I was not drunk, nor am I careless or clumsy. We called to report
it... They sent up security and an EMT... I reported it so they would do
something about it, and to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else who might
get hurt much worse.
Now, before this happened (our last morning there), we had other problems: when
we arrived to check in, at the VIP desk, for our 2-night stay, we are informed
our reservation is only for ONE night. We show them the email confirming 2
nights, but are told since it was through corporate, they would have to talk to
them the next morning, and would call us to let us know when done. They never
called. So we had to call them after Noon to find out. It was done. That
evening, we come back to our room only to find out we are locked out... Our keys
no longer work! So now we have to wait for security, then new keys... Wrong
ones, so had to wait for right ones. Our evening was delayed... We had come back
to freshen up for night time activities.
I have not had a vacation in years other than a weekend away 2 or 3 times a
year. I went away hoping to have a stress-free, relaxing weekend. Instead, more
aggravation, and an accident. When we called to report the accident, that's when
we decided to mention the other problems we had experienced. We had enough at
that point. Now, one would think they would at least make a follow up call to
see how I am doing the following day, as well as offered some form of
compensation for all the mishaps... But NOTHING! Not even a dinner, maybe a
bottle of wine, something to show they are sorry for all the problems and want
us to come back, and not get a bad review either. I know many hotels would've
comp'ed a night when incidences like this happen to a guest! Every guest should
be taken care of, but when even VIP guests are not treated properly, it makes
one wonder how everyone else is treated at this hotel.

The hotel is great and has Gondola Ride like in Italy. Super Jackpots in the
casino and some little shopping with restaurants as well.

The Venetian Hotel is one of the Superb Hotel in Las Vegas. I stayed there for 6
days for some conference in Vegas. As my Conf was held in Venetian, i preferred
staying there.
The Ambience & the Casino were very good. The Poker Room is the one i liked it.
The Suites were very good and the room service as well.
The Cost of the Hotel is very high and would still increase if you book it in a
peak season and when it is booked just 2-3 days before your trip.
This is in the center of the strip and accessible to the Strip on both the
sides. |
