we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are small but adequate,
bathrooms very nice. Decor is modern. Pool area is great. All the staff we
encountered were very helpful. The casino is a nice size. There are many
restaurant choices. It's approx a 30 minute drive from the strip. It was a nice
alternative after a few days on the strip.

Enjoyed the Total experience at the resort. Close proximity to several golf
courses.
A small financial issue was rectified quickly by the manager Mr. Don Combs and
was truly appreciated. Stay here and you wont be disappointed.

So I had to go to Vegas for my mom's funeral. Wasn't too concerned about price,
but like anyone else, chose the lowest rate for a three night stay. Website said
"Reservations cannot be cancelled." No problem, I HAD to go...But the night
before, I noticed that the rates had dropped by A LOT - almost 50% less than
what I paid a few days earlier! I called and politely asked if I could take
advantage of the lower rate and was told "Absolutely Not! When you choose the
Online Exclusive, you are stuck with that price." To be fair, after I fired off
an irate e-mail, the manager did lower my rate to almost what was currently
posted. Her e-mail said "online exclusive reservations provide a discount on
your rates up to 50%. For that discount on the rates, the reservations booked as
online exclusives are not refundable and are not able to change or cancel them".
But, due to my "circumstances" she made an exception. The staff at the front
desk was great, but the maid service was very spotty. Ate at the Mexican
restaurant Cabo and got a totally flat beer and a toothpick in my fajitas - the
manager asked if I had ingested the toothpick and when i said "No", he totally
lost interest - just muttered sorry and wandered away. He did assure me that the
toothpick was probably due to part of the food preparation process and I prefer
to believe him! Station Casinos seems to have forgotten its roots as a business
built by providing value to locals and morphed into a penny-pinching, charge for
everything possible big business ripoff. There are better places to stay in
Vegas!

My wife and I live in Las Vegas and live less than 2 miles away from Aliente. We
decided to go to the Hotel for New Years Eve and didn't want to drive after
drinking all night so we decided to stay the night. Problem was they told us
they weren't booking 1 night only which I thought was odd. So we booked 2 nights
and the room we stayed in for $80/night every other day of the year was now
$250/night. It was clean and the rooms are nice but not THAT nice. Next year IF
we go back we will definitely catch a cab instead of staying there. Room service
was very slow and food was cold when we finally got it. The front desk girl was
answering the phone as room service, front desk, and bell desk. I would think
with those rates they could hire a few more people. Great place to stay for
$80/night but not $250/night

We had a wonderful stay at Aliante Station a few weeks back. This property is in
North Las Vegas and a little bit of a drive from downtown or The Strip. If you
are going to the racetrack or to see relatives in the north part of Las Vegas
you should definitely stay here.

We stayed here going on our trip and again on our return. The customer service
was great. The casino has good ventilation and the smoke was not bad. Rooms are
beautiful and quiet. We will stay here again. |
