Circus Circus is not one of the luxurious hotels of the strip but It is a huge
hotel. We stayed there at January 2012. Rooms are also quit big and clean. We
choose Circus Circus, 1- Price was very good, 2- Having the indoor theme park
was a big advantage for the kids, 3- the Hotel is not far from the strip.
There is a big car park behind the hotel and reaching the strip is only 4-5 min.
from the hotel by car. The Lobby area is very big and there are many souvenir
shops and fast food facilities at the Entrance Level. For sure "casino" is also
there. ( There is subway and Mc Donalds outside on the corner) During check In
they are charging 18 USD per room as resort fee. The Restaurant area is also
very big and American style open buffet..( You can continue with the fried
chicken and ice cream after your breakfast:) We stayed on a lower floor , inside
of the room was ok but the view was terrible. Looking back of the hotel ,
probably direct to the air-conditioning building or something like that.
As we spend all the time outside of the hotel, kids never used and never asked
about the indoor theme park and other facilities :) Las Vegas is quit
interesting city anyway and walking on the strip was far more then enough for
them and also for us .
I can advice this hotel if you want to stay in a big hotel close to strip but
don't want to expect to much and not to prefer to spend to much money.

This was my 2nd trip to Vegas, the first was 12 years ago at Mandalay Bay, I
chose Circus Circus as we decided we wouldn't be in the room much and would
prefer to save the cash for other things.
We got a taxi to the hotel from the airport and paid $33 incl tip. If there's 2
of you I would suggest one of the shuttle buses as they ar so much cheaper (our
return journey was $16 incl tip).
Check in was busy, so we waited about 15 mins. Our reception was friendly, I
asked for a strip view(I had requested one when booking online). We were put in
1550 which is the top floor of the casino level rooms, they had just been
refurbished and were a nice size.
2 double beds, flat screen tv, and a partial strip view. The bathrooms were very
tired looking and old, be warned when you flush the loo, it's so powerful the
noise will make you jump! Lol
There are ice machines near the lifts and vending machines for drinks, $3.00 for
a bottle of coke is a rip off.
If you need to withdraw cash from an ATM DO NOT use those in hotels, as well as
the $3 fee they charge 4-5% on top. So 400 would be about $424.00!!! There are
ATM's in the 7-11 or in Walgreens and at the fashion show mall which only charge
a few dollars regardless of how much you withdraw.
Would I stay in circus circus again?
Despite the great price of about $48.00 including tax and resort fee, No I
wouldn't.
The hotel is a lower class hotel, and most of the people there were a little
older than us, and it's too far from the main strip.
All the staff were very friendly and we had no real issues, it's just not for
us.

I travel quite a bit for work and have stayed in all kinds of hotels and motels.
I get a travel expense account and if I stay in a hotel that is below my
allowance, I can pocket the difference. Don't get me wrong, I don't stay in
every dive I can find to save a penny, I have seen the news specials about how
dirty hotel rooms really are. But for less than $25 a night, the Circus Circus
is the Beverly Wilshire of Hotels under $30! The $100 a night I saved over
staying in the Bellagio allowed me to eat better, see the "O" Cirque Du Soliel
show and see the Grand Canyon for what I would normally spend in New York doing
nothing in a inferior hotel. I love Vegas for this reason, and I hope to be back
soon, it's crazy cheap compared to other places.

Circus Circus is a great hotel for the money, it does have it's major downsides
such as it's remote location being a far walk away from where all the action is.
It's also an old property, but the rooms are surprisingly nice and spacious,
this hotel could easily cost $200 a night in any other major city. If you have
kids, this hotel has more to offer than any other property with the Adventure
Dome. One of my favorite things about Circus Circus is the Steakhouse,
unbelievably good and a great value.
For the money, you can't go wrong with the Circus Circus, if it was any lower
price, the homeless could afford to live here.

Blew in without a reservation on a Tuesday. Waited in line for 30 minutes but
was fortunate to lease a nice double. Different price for every night. Cheap for
the first few, but expensive for the last night because of a
convention...averaged $60 per. It would be best to prebook via the internet. The
amenities outside the room were expensive and a little tacky. Probably would
stay there again

Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and the bed was beyond comfortable.
Check in was very fast and we got a choice of high or low rooms. We had a great
view to the North. I don't think I've ever had such a big bathroom in a hotel
before. Nice power strip next to the desk was very handy. I hope to be back in
Las Vegas next year and will be glad to stay there.

I would strongly suggest not to go there with family. There is so much smoke
everywhere, it starts to burn eyes. And if you breathe it for 1-2 days, you are
bound to get sick.
Its very basic, kind of big motel. Food is lousy. Service is courteous
everywhere, no complaints about that.
If you are single, want to gamble, enjoy night life, then fine, but not with
family.
