My spouse and I attended the Michael McDonald concert at the Eastside Cannery
and spent the night in an 11th floor Jacuzzi suite on property. The property is
fairly new and in excellent condition overall. Dined at their very fine
restaurant, Carve. You can't go wrong. Corner suite overlooking the North and
Western part of the Las Vegas valley.

Had a comped room so stayed a night in January. The hotel is very nice. The
rooms are modern and comfortable. The casino is fun and we had some good luck.
Sams Town is walking distance. The cafe had a great inexpensive breakfast
special. Service and food were great. The casino offers nice comps for gamblers
so be sure to get a players card. If you are traveling to Vegas this is a nice
place with reasonable rates. You will need a car for sightseeing. It's located
about 15 minutes from the airport and strip area.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly upon arrival.
The room was spacious and very nicely appointed. However, it was apparent that
housekeeping was not thorough in cleaning. The lamp had layers of dust on it,
for example.
Our room was not cleaned the second day and even though we reported it, the room
was never cleaned that day. We had to ask for fresh towels which they did send
to our room. However, the next day, housekeeping did clean the room and change
the linens.

most games are of the 1cent denomination. Rooftop club one/six closed due to
problems with customer gang fights. Price for room is a very good value.

The rooms were large and very comfortable. However, the casino seems too quiet.
Could use some music (or louder music?). And can they offer coffee with cheaper
refills? I had to go to McDonalds every morning to be sure I had enough coffee
without paying full price for refills. They do have an excellent buffet for just
$7 on weekends.

Stayed there last weekend for 3 nights. The room, a double queen, non-smoking
was very comfortable. No smoke odor, very comfortable beds. Unfortunately, when
you enter to go the registration, you enter the casino which has a nasty smoke
smell. Worse at night when it's busier, better in the early morning. We didn't
try the restaurants because they open to the casino, and again, the smoke. If
they could fix that, it would truly be a great place to stay

This was our second time at this property in the past year and both experiences
were very good. The room's are "new-ish" (being about 3 to 4 years old) and have
floor to ceiling windows and plush beds. Both visit's the hotel staff has been
excellent at accommodating our requests and are pleasant and helpful! The pool
and hot tub...

I would encourage anyone to try this hotel. It is lovely, especially the
bedrooms and the amazing views. it is not expensive, especially if you are a
senior you will get a reduced rate. |
