Great hotel, crazy city. A calming oasis in a storm of madness! I love the fact
that the pool boys knew your name within 30 minutes of arriving. The ice cold
cucumbers and face towels pool side, the amazing spa and the fantastic
restaurant. Just perfect. The best hotel in Vegas!

On my first visit to Las Vegas from England, we stayed at the Four Seasons from
28th Dec to 2nd January. The hotel was great and housekeeping staff really
courteous and helpful. However, on the night of the 30th, my 21-year old
daughter wanted to head back to the room but my husband was still playing at the
casino. My daughter was happy to go back to the room by herself but, after
discussion with my husband who said he wouldn't be much longer, I went with her.
As we got to our floor, about halfway down, a young man wearing a hooded jacket
with the hood up was just standing. As we approached him, he started walking
ahead of us. When he got to the end of the corridor, he again just stood still.
As he heard the click of the roompass, he turned around and headed back towards
us. Knowing I couldn't get into the room before he could get his foot in the
door, I stood outside and my daughter entered the room. The man and I just
watched each other until he had passed down the corridor.
Unsettled by the incidence, I phoned the front desk to tell them about the man.
No one got back to me but, luckily, my husband saw him leave the Four Seasons
lobby and had noticed him because he still had the hood up.
Replying to a survey, I said I thought even a note under our door would have
been reassuring. After another email, I did get a phone call from the hotel
saying that someone else had also reported the man and, unfortunately, "Las
Vegas does attract a criminal element". They said that their Security had been
unable to locate the man.
I appreciate that it wasn't the hotel's fault that the man was there but their
response was poor. Also I cannot understand how my husband managed to see this
man a good 5-10 minutes after I (and someone else) reported the man but the
hotel security could not. The hotel is not that large nor does it have many
exits. It would also have been reassuring to know at the time that they had
taken by concern seriously.
I occasionally wake up at night and wonder "what would have happened if my
daughter had gone to the room alone?".
The hotel and staff were great but

This is a very personal review and should be taken as such. I visited Vegas just
once, to tick it off the list. And I rather wish I'd chosen somewhere besides
the Four Seasons. Although the service was as outstanding as ever (thank you for
remembering our anniversary, guys), the spaces were large and soulless and
didn't have the luxurious feel of other Four Seasons hotels. Also, walking
through some other Las Vegas hotels, I feel I'd missed out on part of the Vegas
experience. If I ever do go there again I'll try somewhere like the Bellagio
with a bit more bling.
Having said that, if I were a regular visitor, I'd choose the Four Seasons for
all the usual reasons: peace, consistency and service. So absolutely no
complaints. Just not quite what I was looking for.

A wonderful and personal first class experience in an elegant hotel. Probably
one of the most friendly, courteous and efficiently staffed hotels in the world.
It is affordable elegance, but the true difference is the total avoidance of
cumbersome lines and a noisy crowded lobby.
Check the cost of every call before you dare dial that phone. It will cost an
immediate $12.50 just for connecting outside of the local area. You must not
have a room facing the airport to avoid that noise. There is a one way door from
the lobby to the adjoining Mandalay Bay Hotel and casino. However, you are the
last significant hotel at the south end of the strip so most activities are a
short cab ride away.

Recently I had the chance, while on my way to LA, to stopover for the night in
Las Vegas. My wife and I were lucky enough to stay at Four Season's property on
the strip. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. It was
almost embarrassing how much attention we received, but none the less, it was
amazing!
We decided to dine in the casual restaurant, Verandah, and it was, like the rest
of the stay a pleasant experience. I have to admit though, we ordered lighter
fare and were not overly impressed. It just seemed like it parts of the dinner
were prepped too far in advance and not as fresh as they could have been. The
service was prompt, courteous and pleasant.
The rooms were very well appointed as you would expect at a Four Seasons, we had
an amazing view of the strip and the beds were comfortable. I appreciate the
newer style of coffee dispensers in the room (Krueg's single serve) but they're
too loud. My wife was sleeping so I felt that I had to venture to the lobby for
my morning fix, not my favorite thing to do when I first wake up is have to ride
an elevator and encounter others in the lobby when I"m still in my "PJ's". I
think there has to be a better solution.
Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay and send a big thank you to the staff. You
were all so nice, we appreciate all your hard work!!

This hotel is both elegant and beautiful. More relaxed than the rest of the
strip but being next to Mandalay Bay gives you great access to the highlights
and local attractions.

We stayed here just before New Year. From the moment we arrived at the front
door, we were looked after. While checking in, the receptionist called for our
bags to be delivered to our room right away and they were there when we got to
the room.
The room is spacious but I agree with some other reviews that the rooms are
starting to date but everything is still spotless clean and immaculate.
We managed to use the house car a couple of times which I recommend if it's
available.
This hotel is very different to all the other hotels in Las Vegas, but it's
perfect if you want to come back to a hotel which takes no time to get to your
room while avoiding crowds and with excellent customer service. Although the
hotel does not have a Casino, this is not a problem as you are minutes away from
Mandalay Bay with all the amenities.
The Four Seasons never disappoints when it comes to customer service, you feel
truly looked after and you are not just another person through their doors,
compared to other hotels in the strip. |
