Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Tropicana, had room 414 Paradise Tower,
facing the strip. Cool view of the Excalibur, kept the blinds open all the time
so I could see the castle all lit up. Room was clean, beds super comfy. Front
desk staff very nice and accommodating. Everyone we encountered, from the gift
shop clerks to the valets, super friendly. No coffee maker in room, but a quick
call to the front desk and they sent us up a keurig coffee machine and k-cups
plus bottled water to pour in the coffee maker, for an extra charge of $10 a
day. a bargain for two people who drink a lot of coffee, we just called and
requested more k-cups and they were sent right up. We enjoyed having coffee in
our room and our trip was enhanced by the ongoing promotion of first $200 on us,
for new gamblers such as myself, playing slots was a new experience for me. I
liked the size and feel of the Trop. We were in paradise tower. easy to get
around. I especially loved the smell of the place, like pina colada scent. The
front desk printed our airline boarding passes when it was time to go. kudos to
the staff at the Tropicana, we will return!

Our stay at the Tropicana was nothing less then wonderful! The hotel has been
recently renovated and the decor is done in warm tans, oranges, browns and
coral...Cozy and modern all in the same casino roll. You also can detect the
light fragrance of coconut and ginger as you walk in the door. There are some
great restaurants, and the new poolside club/lounge looks like it's going to be
the place to be once spring and summer are here. I would highly recommend
staying at the Tropicana to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, fun, clean
and luxurious stay while in Las Vegas.

We got a great deal on Expedia and had 4 nights in the Club Suite. YES - it is a
long walk - but prob the same as rooms at MGM. Very few rest choices -that is
true - but you are a 5 minute walk to several places, Room - loved having two
rooms, refrig, free bottle water and coffee. Large shower and toilet in one room
and his and her sinks in a dressing area. Two large screen tv's. Room was clean
and they even came by 2 nights and gave us more water, clean towels and a choc
on the pillow. VIEW was THE BEST - we had at least 6 windows all with a great
view of the strips - 20th floor. Pool area looks great - of course not able to
use it, did see people wondering around and enjoying the seating area. Bus stop
RIGHT in front. I normally stay at Flamingo or Harrahs - so yes - this is a diff
location - but very conv to MGM, New York, Excaliber, Luxor and MB - all within
5-8 mins.

We gambled at this casino while waiting for Recycled Percussion (5 stars in my
book) to start. They offered us up to $200 in our losses back to use by midnight
so we came back and played our losses after the show. The staff were very nice
but the drinks were very slow in coming. I forgot my sweater and it was turned
in to lost and found and all were helpful in locating.
I recommend the casino, the slot offer and the show!
